Crazy eights is a shedding-type card game with the goal of discarding all cards from hand before others. A standard 52-card deck is used for this game where 5 cards are dealt to each player at the start of the game and the remaining cards are placed face down at the center of the table as stock-pile. The top card in the stock-pile is then turned face up as the first card in the discard pile. 

Players discard their hands by playing a matching rank or suit card with the top card in the discard pile. Players can play 8 at any time, which allows them to select the suit that the next player has to play.

All I see are cards moving much quicker than they have a right to & how no idea what’s actually happening. So, I’d say it’s bit quick for beginners who have NO freakin’ idea what the heck they are doing, but it sure makes us learn how to play a whole lot quicker too!! Lol.
