They’re gonna push ads that are annoying so you upgrade. But my god. The ads I see here are the worst of any app I’ve ever used. I exclusively use this app on home WiFi with an ad blocker. Unusable as the free version. 3 unskippable 2 minute ads after very game. Clicking anywhere pauses it and opens the App Store. Half the time the ad doesn’t even have an end. It will sit on repeat until you close the app and come back hours later. The go AI is pretty solid, but if I could find anything better I would never touch this app again.
