The new update brought its own disaster. I can’t seem to be able to login, yet I am already registered for SimBanking. I can’t even get the OTP password to be re-sent again to my phone. For a bank as CRDB it’s a shame that in 2019 you still have such an assinine and backwards service. ### 1/5 — Needs to be fixed *2018-05-26, version 1.2* It doesn’t really work at all🧐 ### 1/5 — OTP and seller info *2017-09-22, version 1.1* Why do i have to pay to get OTP? you are making me dial *150*03# where i get charged. 😠😠😠 Its very scary to see CRDB app but seller is someone else. It would give peace of mind if you change that to CRDB. Why do i have to manually write mobile number when i do transfer to mobile? If i pick from address book, the spaces and +255 are not ignored by your app therefore it gives invalid number error. Why cant your app reformat the number to required format? Sending Transactions - two messages english and swahili are sent to user. 2. ⁠Receive Transactions - two messages english and swahili are sent to user; 3. ⁠Every bank notice - two messages english and swahili are generated for the user; 4. ⁠Default Language on app and USSD Banking - set to English; but mini; history and statement is mixed in english and swahili for the user; 5. ⁠Default Account on App - Profiles/Set Default Account - does not work; you have to lock on everytime you login; 6. ⁠Cannot Save Domestic Bank Accounts and frequent mobile numbers on Favorites on App; 7. ⁠Notifications messages are highly delayed and when received are dirty and cluttered denying clear message to user. Thanks guys keep it up... ### 4/5 — Please make this app with ability of using our Electronic mail (EMAILS) *2024-04-06, version 14.0.51(221)* When logging in it always wants us to put the verification code that comes in our phone number registered with. But in case someone goes to abroad or doesn’t have the SIM card it means it will be impossible for the user to access the account because of the verification code sent to the phone number that the user doesn’t have. So to fix these cases and for more security of users account please put the registrations of sim banking by options of phone numbers and Electronic Mail(EMAIL). And also the verification code should go through email. This is very important!!!. Thank you. I’m in abroad but I can’t get access to my account due to SIM card. Please let’s use email. ### 4/5 — Alert Msgs for credited amount *2019-02-12, version 1.2* It’s not entirely useful as I can’t get alert notification for any credited amount in my account. I want to be able to know when money has been credited to my account. It’s okay you can charge me for that service, it’s better than having to get charged every time trying to guess if money has been credited to my account by looking at the balance. We all want to go cashless as early as possible, and other banks are way ahead of CRDB with regards to this. ### 3/5 — Simbanking App *2021-04-25, version 2.5* Thank you for SimBanking App. However, sometimes it does not work and mainly when you are in need of money and you want to make transfers. You get message “Oops sorry the service is not available try later”! This causes lot of inconveniences especially when you want to pay the bills or pay to someone. Kindly ensure this App is functioning all the time because it is very useful for making transactions easily. ### 2/5 — App Crashing *2023-05-18, version 2.6.8 (1.0.0)* I have tried starting the app in my iPhone for the past two weeks evwry other day and it keeps crashing even before it can open properly. I suggest testing the app on different phone systems before officilly releasing your updates. It sounds like as long as its working on internal team phones, its assumed it works with every phone.
