The previous version had fixed it (Most of the time). Hold off upgrading if you Camera access is working. The UI is confusing, basic tasks are buried or unclear, and nothing feels intuitive. Simple actions like connecting a printer, sending a file, or understanding what state the printer is in take way more effort than they should. The app feels half-finished and clearly not designed with real users in mind—especially beginners. Error messages are vague (when they exist at all), workflows are inconsistent, and it’s never obvious what the app expects you to do next. For a company selling beginner-friendly hardware, this software does the exact opposite. I shouldn’t need YouTube tutorials, Reddit threads, and trial-and-error just to get a basic print started. No one and I mean no one at Creality even knows how to use their products. The customer service people are a joke, none of them know what they are doing , they just read from a script. Lord knows if you email Creality good luck getting an intelligent answer. Plus , for what ever reason the company will not put out a trading video on how to use the software. And good luck trading to figure out how to multi color print anything. Stay away from Creality, the biggest waste of my money ever, you can bet this will be deleted by them and they will not reach out to me and ask why I wrote this. But it still has a dependency on Creality Cloud to function. My fondest desire would be for this app to be also able to function disconnected from Creality Cloud and do local LAN monitoring.
