Left the restaurant without ordering after seeing the excessive amount of data Creams try to collect just to even be able to place an order.

I don’t know where to begin. Probably the fact I wanted to order a dessert via the app from my local cream all to find out you can’t order for every Creams. In fact there’s only 4 Creams in London that you can order from on the app - useless to me and misleading. The app experience is something stuck in 2010 - glitching, poor loading times, poor UX and UI.

I will not be using again.

Haven’t been in years so whilst it was sad to see they no longer did my go-to waffle, I could understand. However what I hated the most about my experience was the faff of having to download their own useless app and then sign up, probably selling on my details to some shady data broker like every other business these days. And I had to do ALL of this just to then pay £12+ for a pretty standard waffle so I could have it delivered to my table. Ridiculous. Will not be returning to this chain anymore.

Why can you go straight to the menu and checkout as guest

I had a very disappointing experience at Creams. I ordered a cheesecake ice cream for £11, expecting something special. What I received was just plain ice cream with a tiny piece of cheesecake and a few biscuit crumbs—definitely not worth the price. When I asked the waiter about it, instead of acknowledging the issue, he responded that he had “added more ice cream than he should have” as if that made up for the lack of cheesecake. Overall, poor value for money and unprofessional service. I won’t be coming back. Manchester Arndale branch

Very annoying, have to download the app to use online menu, 

Makes you sign up and sign your life away before even having a look at the menu, I would suggest streamlining the app to make for a quicker and more efficient experience for customers, nobody to wants to have to work to have a well earned treat after a long day following the wife around shopping.

Like most apps, it takes a minute to set up the first time, but once that’s done, ordering is effortless — and you can skip the queue at the counter!
