You can either follow these exercises or choose from a complete list of exercises. As you follow an exercise anything you write is saved so you can easily find it later. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Emmanuel Williams is a qualified teacher with an MA in the Teaching of Creative Writing from Humboldt State University. The fact that the designer of the app himself practises the craft of writing probably helps. I can see this will be a useful tool to get myself going when I'm not feeling inclined to start on a piece of writing! No excuses now. ### 5/5 — I really enjoy this app *2013-11-24, version 1.0* It's a really good app to have, especially if you suffer with writers block. I sometimes mix a few ideas up to put them in the same story ### 3/5 — Good but not for kids *2013-10-06* I think this app is great- it helps with a lot of different kinds of writing and thinking outside the box, it has a lot of prompts and exercises!! Amazing!! However, some of the content and prompts are inappropriate for children, I think some of these suggestive prompts should be removed so that users of all ages can enjoy it. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2013-05-25, version 1.0* I love this app. It works. It has given me inspiration that I've needed to create poems that I'm really happy with. It's also taught me different methods and skills when writing poems, which will also prove useful when writing my fictional books. It has useful tips, techniques and examples and I'd recommend his app to everyone! Thanks. ### 4/5 — Love this app! *2012-04-29* This app has really helped me to get creative. It's motivating. It's fun. Some of the prompts could be used repeatedly with different results. Some may be kind of limited for re use, but they are fun to work with at least once. I would like it even more if it were easier to access and use your writings. Right now, writings can be viewed in a list or emailed one at a time to be accessed through a word processor. It would be nice to be able to organize writings into groups or to stitch them together into projects without having to email them first. ### 2/5 — Not impressed *2012-03-10* Interesting array of writing ideas but app feels very limited. Couldn't see what I was writing because onscreen keyboard blocks what you write the further down you go. I also lost the first thing I wrote because it didn't save. I'd find something better as I felt like this was a waste. ### 5/5 — Well done- worth more *2011-12-08* I wasn't looking for a novel-writing app so I almost didn't buy this. I'm so glad I did. It is helpful for any kind of writing. It makes you think and gets you going. It is helpful with sentences, poems, dialogue, story, whatever you need with lots of prompts, and ideas.
