Why is the app also only limited to classes? The website allows you to browse patterns as well. ### 4/5 — Update messed up landscape orientation scrolling *2024-02-13, version 1.13.0* Now you can only see the class info below the video window a line at a time because the video window is locked and doesn’t scroll with the rest of the screen. This is very impractical and more than a little frustrating. Also, I can only use portrait in one orientation now and it’s not the one I prefer (apparently I like to use the my iPad upside-down/backwards). Please return it to the way it used to be! ### 3/5 — Creativebug app is well buggy *2022-09-29, version 1.10.0* The app takes a long time to load. Filters don’t work and video often blacks out. The one thing I am having issues with now is commenting it throws up an error that my comment didn’t go through I have never been able to comment from the app is this a feature or bug? ### 2/5 — Serious glitches *2022-03-25, version 1.9.0* March 25, 2022 I just downloaded the app. Interesting projects for which I give two stars, but no more because I can’t get to them (see below). 1st problem: when you scroll down the page the app resets itself and takes you back up to the top so you can never see or access anything beyond what initially loads on your screen. 2nd problem: when you try to access a PDF it disappears. According to other apple reviews both these problems were reported a year ago and yet the glitches still exist. Come on, Creativebug, show your customers that you value them and please fix these problems. ### 3/5 — Useful but buggy *2021-11-14, version 1.8.1* I just recently downloaded it and So far the classes seem great and very interesting. The production quality is great and there is a wide variety of topics. It very definitely seems to offer more than enough to justify the cost. Cons: app seems very buggy. When you “go back” to the main menu, it automatically takes you back to the top of the menu which is super irritating. It’s hard to filter though topics so everything seems very muddled. I wish there was a way so see full courses in one spot because right now each section is scattered among every other topic. It’s very confusing and makes it hard to plan your watch list. I also wish there was a way to view topics from “start here” ### 3/5 — App glitches *2021-07-09, version 1.6.0* great content but i can’t access all of it. as i scroll it jumps back to the top. i think it’s a bug. ### 1/5 — Scam *2021-06-30, version 1.6.0* I see many reviews of people with same issue I had. Getting the paying subscription and not being able to access anything outside of their ‘free’ version. I even saw a developer response which requested the person contact them with their info to help them get squared away. I emailed them weeks ago about my issue with no solution offered. It’s been time consuming and the app isn’t very user friendly (I used the website when trying to access videos and the like). Overall, complete dissatisfaction with creativeBug. ### 1/5 — App still won’t scroll down... *2021-05-07, version 1.6.0* Submitted a one star review in January for this same issue and it’s still not fixed. I try to scroll down and it jumps me back up to the top. ### 2/5 — Frustrating glitches *2021-04-10, version 1.4.0* I paid to have full access to all the classes. The app is poorly designed and incredibly annoying to use. When you browse the classes and go down the page, it keeps resetting itself to the top, randomly and every few seconds. To keep browsing you need to go back quickly to where you were, hoping the page is not gonna reset again too fast. Really, really annoying. The second problem is I cannot see any PDFs. The page remains blank, nothing shows, on any of the classes, the PDFs never worked. I wish the app creators fixed these issues, but nothing has changed since I first downloaded the app a few months ago. Also, I did delete and reinstall, but it did not solve the problem. ### 1/5 — Impossible to log in *2021-03-29, version 1.4.0* The app interface does not allow you to log in with your Creativebug account information- it only allows you to use facebook, no longer Amazon. Unfortunately, Creativebug does not allow you to connect your facebook account due to a developer error in the creativebug website, making it impossible to access either way. Please fix this as soon as possible - have been using this service for years ### 1/5 — Subscription via Apple Store not being honored *2021-03-25, version 1.4.0* I subscribed via IPhone App using my App Store account and my subscription is not being honored. It does not work well for tablet users as it displays in Portrait and doesn’t auto-adjust to a landscape display with the tablet. I signed up for premium and paid for it, but every time I get on the app it keeps asking me to sign up for the free trial. I clicked on the free trial button, but it tells me I’m already signed up. Yet, when I click on a class it tells me to sign up. The “restore purchases” button does nothing. Emailed customer service but haven’t heard back. I hope I can get my money back since I haven’t been able to use it yet. ### 1/5 — First screen is the sign up screen *2020-12-12, version 1.3.0* I don’t know anything about you. I’m not going to sign up as a first step. First thing I did was close and delete the app. ### 1/5 — worst app *2020-11-17, version 1.3.0* the worst app ever for watching... first, it starts on a portrait mode where you choose which one to watch or start a lesson with and when you’ve chosen a video to watch, it will auto load in landscape and then there are no buttons/settings if you want to skip or move forward to some parts. After one video or chapter, it will stop and go back to portrait mode again, then you click another chapter to watch and then it will load again in landscape. What a cumbersome task to be going back and forth from portrait to landscape modes. I mean it so much if you are watching from a 12inch tablet. I am looking for a class I have added to my watchlist for the umpteenth time. You can’t even search because it NEVER comes up. As mentioned the content is great but the app is just so horribly designed. ### 1/5 — Not Worth It *2024-10-25, version 1.13.0* After some interaction, I decided this app is of ZERO value and interest to me. I signed up for the 7-day free trial. Only browsed for 2 days and couldn’t find crafts of my interest or within my skill level. I canceled the free trial before it was over and was still charged $7.99 for a month worth subscription that I’m not going to do anything with. Not fun, not easy, not worth it. ### 1/5 — Won’t load. Can’t use. *2024-08-25, version 1.13.0* I’m in week 2 of my 2 month free subscription. I’ve tried to use it over 10x. All but 1 time, the app never fully loads. I can open and use other apps. I can open Craftsy. But this app will not load. I have deleted and reinstalled.
