## What is CredibleMeds Mobile?

This CredibleMeds Mobile App supports the CredibleMeds.org website which maintains and posts lists of drugs in categories that reflect their ability to prolong the QT interval on the electrocardiogram and/or cause the life-threatening heart arrhythmia, torsades de pointes (TdP).

The CredibleMeds Mobile App was developed for patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, healthcare professionals and research scientists in order to provide them with ready access to the most up-to-date version of the CredibleMeds lists of drugs.

The App also provides background information on the categories of drug risk and explains the relationship between QT prolongation and TdP.

For healthcare professionals and research scientists, the QTdrugs Lists can be used to identify which drugs can cause QT prolongation or TdP.

For patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, the drugs and risk categories are described and presented separately as the Drugs to Avoid in cLQTS.

## Key features

### 1/5 — hate the new version

*2025-11-12*

I used to use this app almost every week, and it was truly a lifesaver, knowing what I could take and what I couldn't. Now it requires paying to save a life. Do they care about saving a life or making an income? After using this app for 6 years, I am very disappointed in the $109 charge to check medications now that I am able to use.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-08-27*

With someone with long qt, I needed this to search for drugs. It requires a subscription which was surprising. I will continue to use the web browser, although that can also be confusing.

### 4/5 — Used to be great

*2025-08-01*

I love that the app doesn’t collect data. The app used to be truly awesome. As a provider and family member I miss the prior functionality which was amazing. I am still thankful that someone is tracking and getting the info out there. Thank you Credible Meds!

### 1/5 — Update is difficult

*2025-07-18*

I have used this app since my diagnosis with LQT, the last update took the ability to search for a medication away. Now I have to scroll and if I know the drug as a different name it’s much more difficult to find it. Bring back the search menu!

### 1/5 — The new version is terrible

*2025-04-03*

I have congenital LQTS and have used this app for years, it always doing exactly what I need, which is to search by drug name and tell me the risks. Now, the basic functionality is missing - there is no search, just a long progressive list that loads slowly, and you have to scroll until you find the drug you are looking for. And don’t get me started on the introduction of tiered subscription plans.

### 3/5 — Good but hasn’t been updated in a while

*2025-01-22*

Just needs updated to make it more intuitive, other than that it’s been pretty useful as a Long QT patient myself

### 4/5 — Needs category search

*2022-01-16*

App is easy to use, but I like the website feature of obtaining a list of all drugs by risk category. It would be nice to have that in the app, as well as search by drug name rather than brand name. Otherwise very happy have this app.

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2019-06-14*

I just made a donation to Azcert because this app has been so helpful to me. I have relatives with LQT and I don’t know where we would be without your published information. We have corrected several errors that doctors have made in prescribing medicines, even when the LQT is on the med charts. Thank you for all you do!

### 5/5 — Best app

*2019-05-31*

This app is honestly the best thing I never realized how much I actually need it and there’s so many new drugs coming up and it’s great to have an app to find what drugs you shouldn’t take

### 3/5 — Love it, but...

*2019-01-17*

I love this app. It has been so helpful in preventing me from taking a medication that could adversely effect me. However, it needs to be updated more frequently. And ability to search by name brand rather than active ingredients. There are still several medicines that do not show up when searched for. But, other than that, wonderful tool!
