Then eventually kicks me out. Secondly premium I feel like is a tad bit unnecessary. I get needing money but do it through other applications some of the best stories cost money that some people don't have to offer up just like that ### 3/5 — Older version was better *2025-01-03* I love this app don’t get me wrong but back when it first came out with the original layout and all the stories being free it was so much better i understand needing money for the app to keep going but it was perfectly fine the way it was and all this premium stuff and changing the layout so much just ruined the app quite frankly. I will not be downloading again which is a shame. My favorite of the creepypasta apps. The voice isn’t annoying or hard to follow, the stories are entertaining, and unlike many of the ones I’ve tried, I can leave the page without it pausing. But at one point, it stopped letting me on the app? I would refresh it, update it, delete it and download it again, and it kept kicking me off. A couple months later, its let me back on. Still really good would recommend. :) ### 2/5 — Constantly crashes *2021-08-31* The stories are good once you can finally get them to play and then you have to cross your fingers that it won’t crash in the middle of a story. If they can fix this I might consider keeping it. ### 2/5 — Lots of crashing *2021-06-24, version 4.04* I used this app several years ago to listen to Creepypasta audios and it worked very well. But lately, I’ve had issues with listening to the tracks. One track will play through and the next one will automatically play as well, but four seconds or so into the intro, I can’t hear the audio anymore. Sometimes it just pauses by itself, but sometimes it says it’s still playing and I’m watching the time stamp progress while I hear absolutely nothing. Granted, for some of the stories, the speaking doesn’t start until 18 or so seconds in so I’m listening to absolute silence because of that. But for some of the stories I have to actually close the app and reopen it, scroll down to the story I was on, and try playing it again; then it might work and I’ll continue listening as usual. Sometimes I have to manually close and reopen the app multiple times before a story will play. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it made my problem worse. Now the app crashes when I try to play stories. My internet connection is not the problem, I have fast internet where I am. My phone doesn’t have trouble running apps, so I’m pretty sure it’s not my phone’s fault, especially since other people are having the same issue. Maybe it’s a compatibility problem, since I switched to an iPhone after having an android phone for years, and the app just works better on android phones. I haven’t tested this theory yet, but the fact is, that’s not my job. The app developers need to do that. I tried to explain the situation as gently as I could, but this problem really has caused a lot of frustration and I think changes can be made to get this app in better shape. However this app has the same stories from that app that I love. It also has stories that I never heard before. There are a few things about the app that slightly ruin the happiness I receive from it. These are not major but are simply a minor annoyance. These annoyances are; the app will close itself sometimes after a story and it will also close if you scroll too quickly or if you open another story. Other than these small problems the only thing I do no like about the app is that there are many stories that I like that are not there for instance “Jane the killer, Homicidal Lue, Ticky Toby and Sonic.exe.
