Big, readable dial. Haptic checkpoints at 25, 50, 75 and 100% of your target time. Stop the timer and Crema saves the shot for you — dose, yield, ratio, time — already filled in.

INSIGHTS THAT ACTUALLY HELP
Crema watches your shot history and suggests practical adjustments in plain English: "Your best shot ran 1:2.3 — try a longer pull." "Last three shots have trended down — reset to your best dose/yield." "This bag is 31 days off roast — flavor may be flattening."

PER-BEAN SWEET SPOT
For every bean, Crema highlights your highest-rated shot and shows your best ratio, time, and grind. Dial in faster with every cup.

COMPARE BEANS SIDE BY SIDE
Pick any two beans and see ratings, ratios, and grind histograms next to each other. Great for A/B-ing two roast batches or two roasters.

EQUIPMENT THAT MATCHES YOURS
Add your grinder and espresso machine. Mark a default and Quick Log auto-fills it. Have a 9Barista or other fixed-pressure / fixed-temp machine? Crema knows — it locks the right fields.

ROAST AGING REMINDERS (OPT-IN)
Crema can remind you when each bag passes its degas (day 4), peak (day 10), and stale-by (day 28) milestones. Local notifications only — no servers, no accounts.

CSV BACKUP
Export your entire library as a single CSV — all beans, shots, equipment in one file. Save to Files, AirDrop to your iPad, email it to yourself. Re-import anywhere with skip-duplicates or upsert mode.

• Bag photos — Add a photo to any bean so you can recognise your roast at a
  glance. Snap one with the camera or pick from your library, right from the
  new bean sheet or your beans list.

• Shot photos with camera — You can now take a shot photo directly inside
  Crema instead of only choosing from your library.

• 5 new app icons — Espresso (default), Midnight, Terracotta, Verdant, and
  Mono. Switch any time from Settings → Appearance → App icon.

• iCloud sync fix — Beans, shots, and photos now sync reliably between
  your iPhone and iPad. If you saw missing or stale photos before, this
  release fixes it.

• iCloud sync. Toggle it on in Settings → Sync to keep beans, shots, and equipment in sync across iPhone and iPad. Data is stored in your own private iCloud — the developer cannot read it.

Improved
• Light & dark mode. Every view (Beans, Insights, Compare, Equipment, Bean Detail, Settings, Brew Timer, all sheets) now uses an adaptive background that respects your system or chosen appearance.
• Equipment cards. The "Default" pill no longer wraps or gets squeezed by long equipment names.
• New bean sheet. The roaster picker now dedupes case-insensitively, so "Onyx" and "onyx" no longer appear as two entries.

Fixed
• Resolved a database migration crash that could occur after updating with on-device data from older versions.
• Various small layout and copy refinements.

Privacy
• The app makes no network requests other than optional iCloud sync. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
