How does this only have 9 reviews?? Only god knows. Beautiful UI that I really appreciate. Recipes are amazing, and epic alcohol drinks. The carbonara al spaghetti is lovely. And the cinematic shots, just, WOW. Everything is so fluent, scrolling is the way to go. I love the integrated ai. You guys should advertise in the london public transport, random but it would work. I started off making merpy dishes such as pickled egg shells with blackened chili stems to drowning in unbelievably delicious dishes with instructions and a recipe list anyone can follow. CREME truly is a perfect app and I am eternally grateful to the creators and the fact that it is free. Thank you for this godsend creation. ### 5/5 — Best Cooking App EVER!! (Plus one feature request) *2024-04-29* I love the community aspect of this app and how the videos repeat each step, that way I can keep it playing until I’m done with that step. The app is beautiful and satisfying to use, so much so that I use more often when I’m NOT cooking than when I am cooking. It’s that fun to use and browse. ✨ FEATURE REQUEST ✨ This app has a grocery tab to add ingredients from recipes you find within the app, but doesn’t give you the ability to add any individual items. You have to find a recipe that has that ingredient in it in order to add it. It’d be awesome to be able to just click a ‘+’ button on the Grocery tab and manually type in the ingredient I need. All in all, you NEED this app!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. ### 5/5 — Apple TV but for food *2024-04-25* Imagine the craft Apple does with its movie platform but for food, now you know what is behind Creme. I want this app to do so well that it doesn’t disappear. The work that’s gone into this app is astounding. The videos, the tutorials, the look, the music the food choice… everything! Honestly just download this. It will really change your kitchen, your cooking ability and your cooking confidence. Well done team Creme. No other app in this space was able to materialize the Eames’ saying like Z and his team at Creme. It doesn’t matter the angle you look at it and use the app, there’s always a surprise element that fills the users with delight. If you love cooking, you already love this app. If you don’t love cooking, you probably will after using Creme. I hope humanity discovers it before Mars is colonized. Insane. Apple store should shield users from that. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2024-06-18* I had high hopes when I downloaded this app, eager to explore its offerings. However, I was immediately disappointed to find that every recipe I clicked on required a subscription. Saying that the recipe would be available to everyone after 30 days; however, this was every single recipe I checked, so I have no inclination on what experience the app actually offers. It’s disheartening when an app claims to be free but locks the core experience behind a paywall. I understand the need for subscriptions, but not allowing users to sample the core experience is just terrible UX, It felt like I wasn't given a fair chance to see what makes this app special. I’ve heard good things from friends, but this approach makes it hard to justify keeping the app. It’s a shame because I was excited to try it out. **Developer response:** We have over 2000 recipes; only the latest published recipes are exclusive to subscribers, which amounts to around 50 recipes; that means that 97.5% of all our content is free to access immediately by anyone, and 2.5% will become available within 30 days or less. You do have to create an account to view the recipes, but it’s free; you can then choose to subscribe if you want access to the latest 50-ish recipes and a few exclusive features. Maybe there was some misunderstanding, but I urge you to try again. I like the step by step, storytelling nature of the app. I just wish there was a cleaner, traditional recipe I could refer back to after seeing the video content. Maybe I’m dumb but it’s confusing sometimes to even get to the parts of a recipe. It can be almost too complicated with the constant videos playing. **Developer response:** We hear you, and we already have it. Just swipe left or tap the “list mode” icon on the bottom left of the cooking flow — swipe right or tap “video mode” to get back to step-by-step. TLDR; not enough videos, not enough foods. **Developer response:** We have 1800+ step-by-step video recipes, making it the largest step-by-step catalog in the world, and we recently launched an AI sous chef called Sous AI to help assist making endless remixes to any recipe to match your taste profile — A new design is coming soon to better help you find and discover our extensive catalog.
