## What is Crew Builder?

Crew Builder turns a leader and a playstyle into a tournament-grounded OPTCG deck in seconds.

Pick the captain you want to sail under, name your playstyle (aggro, control, ramp, combo, or removal — only the ones that match your leader's colors are shown), and the engine assembles a meta-validated 50-card list grounded in real tournament data. Every recommendation carries a short, plain-English "why this card?" explanation shown inline — never buried in a sub-menu.

Three ways to build, every leader:

• Tournament — the verbatim winning list from a real event. No edits, no guesswork.
• Optimal — the engine assembles the strongest list it can, grounded in tournament data and synergy scoring.
• Experimental — for new and niche leaders with no tournament data yet; the engine pushes synergy harder. Clearly labeled.

Since I started using crew builder, I was able to swap out cards I didn’t have from my decks, and have a conversation about which cards were best to have, redundant, or less searchable etc for Lucy deck. I noticed that soon after I started using the app, I started placing a lot higher in tournaments!
