### 4/5 — Home workouts

*2026-01-21, version 1.0.47*

I started using postpartum to workout at home. I like the 30 min workouts since they are perfect for nap time. I wish the app gave helped show the weights so you can prep what you need before you start. But have been amazing for home workouts!

### 4/5 — Love Katie Crewe

*2025-11-20, version 1.0.47*

I found Katie Crewe on fitplan app years ago. When I rejoined fitplan, she wasn’t there so I found her app. I love love love her workouts, HOWEVER I wish this app was more functional for listening to Spotify and provided a checklist of the exercise and weight used (like most fitness apps) instead of forcing you to watch each video for each set… and needing to start over the workout if you accidentally close.

Again, I love Katie Crewe’s fitness plans but this app could use some updates. Idk if I will stick around past the 3 day trial.

### 2/5 — Good structure, but needs better tracking and flexibility

*2025-09-10*

I've been using the Maternity Home Workout Program for over 2 months and overall it's structured and easy to follow. I appreciate that each workout clearly states the number of sets up front and that there are home and gym workout options.

However, there are a few areas where the app could improve:

No workout progress view: I can see the number of sets at the start, but once I begin, there’s no way to know where I am in the workout or how much I’ve already completed. After doing the same routines for weeks, it would be really helpful just to see the numbers and my progress through the session.

No performance tracking: I’d love the ability to log or adjust the number of reps I can do, and to see weight increases from week to week. That kind of progress tracking is motivating and important.

Rigid exercise order: You can only do the exercises in the exact order given. At the gym, if a machine is taken, you’re stuck waiting instead of moving on and coming back later. Having the option to reorder exercises would make it much more practical.

Limited visibility of upcoming exercises: You only see the current exercise, so you can’t prepare in advance by checking what’s next.

Rest timer inconvenience: If I switch apps during rest time, the timer pauses—and I can’t see how much time is left. It would be better if the timer continued running in the background with a small notification.

Success messages are disruptive: After writing a note or logging weight, the big “success” message interrupts the flow. A smaller, quick confirmation would be less annoying.

I like the overall framework and safe, trimester-based workouts, but better progress tracking, flexibility in workout order, and smoother usability would make the program much stronger.

### 4/5 — Good programming for maternity

*2025-07-08, version 1.0.47*

A few glitches make the app a bit annoying to use but the programs are good

### 3/5 — Okay app

*2025-05-07, version 1.0.47*

The workouts are good but the app is a little clunky.

When listening to music it always gets turned down when the app is up and you cant change the Exercise to a substitution when the workout has started only before.

### 3/5 — 3.5- Almost There

*2024-12-20*

I like most of the work outs and the calorie counter.
Some of the work out features I truly don’t like. Some of them are simply not fitting for a gym, like 3 supersets in a gym is just not etiquette or practical. And the back ups aren’t better since it defaults to home alternatives. I’d also really love NOT having to watch a video the entire work out in a gym setting. That should be optional setting and the weight counter and more of a program maybe more of the front so we can track the workouts. Especially after week 1. Why do I need videos to completely the same work out I’ve done 3 times? Anyways with a few tweaks this could be my main app but I’m still using other apps as my primary.

### 4/5 — Great workouts!

*2024-09-12, version 1.0.47*

I love the workouts and the walkthrough. The video assists make it very easy to duplicate and I love that they walk me through how to do the exercises at home. I’m not a huge fan of the food tracking - I find it difficult to enter in my own recipes/snacks. Overall, as I’m here for the workouts I love and would recommend.

### 5/5 — Crewe fitness app

*2024-07-07, version 1.0.47*

Exactly what I was looking for in an app and training program! Easy to follow love the ques for correct positioning.

### 4/5 — Great work outs

*2024-06-28, version 1.0.47*

The app is great lots of good quality workouts and information. It could improve by:
-adding a way to track weights used for a work out
-allowing substitutions to be changed ahead of time. If you want to use a substation they have them which is awesome but unfortunately you can’t go through the work outs and make the substitutions ahead of time. If you make them and leave the app the changes don’t save.

### 5/5 — Postpartum program is amazing!

*2024-06-11, version 1.0.47*

This program is paralleling the work I’m doing with my pelvic floor therapist 6 weeks post c-section and I can’t believe how educational and helpful this program is!

### 4/5 — So far so good

*2024-06-07*

I have enjoyed the workouts thus far ; they’re deceptively challenging. I look at them beforehand and think it won’t be any big deal but whew! I like all the options for plans that are on here. Some things I don’t love: The warm-ups etc area is a bit messy to navigate. It probably is hard to organize those random warm ups / workouts. Some of the moves/equipment needed for home setting might be not attainable for some unless they spend a bunch on very heavy kettlebells potentially (I do have, but they are def an investment), and I luckily had an equalizer for another move but not sure how I would have done it otherwise. If you start the workout, the videos run repetitively for how to do the exercise until you go to the next. I would like to run my music on my phone while working out but if I “start workout” I don’t think it’s possible. Some of the recipes say “1 unit” or “2 units” for the food which no idea how much that is. If it’s for potatoes, I’m assuming it’s one potato, but sometimes it’s written on food items that don’t make sense. Overall I like it, there are work arounds for the issues so far.

### 5/5 — Best work out app

*2024-05-27, version 1.0.47*

Love the app and the program! Katie is the best.

### 5/5 — The workout this mom has needed

*2024-05-22, version 1.0.47*

I’ve finally found a home workout program that is sustainable, challenging, and fun!! After 3 kiddos I’ve needed something that I can do at home and this is it!

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2024-04-12*

I’ve tried a few different apps before (Tone It Up for several years, Julie Ledbetter)
Katie’s plan is in line with my current goals and is challenging. At home I have access to dumbbells, bands, and a barbell. She also provides alternate moves if needed. There are several plans to choose from to keep it from growing stale.
I had a minor hiccup in the beginning with the app but once I realized I needed to turn off the WiFi it’s been working perfectly. Would recommend if you’re looking for strength training.

### 4/5 — Great program, great app potential

*2024-03-09*

Doing the postpartum programs. Love the workouts, they’re the perfect amount of challenging. I love the intention for the app - it walks you through each workout each day of each week, you literally don’t have to put any brainpower into it or plan/keep track of anything. I’ve never seen an app this well planned, and I love it. The only issue is that it crashes halfway through my workout about 50% of the time, so I have to close it and re-navigate through. If it worked perfectly without crashing, this would be hands down the best workout app I’ve ever seen or used.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — NO LONGER SUPPORTED

*2026-03-12, version 1.0.47*

The app always had its flaws but the workouts themselves made up for that. I’m postpartum for a second time and couldn’t wait to do the program all the way through from start to finish. But the app hasn’t been updated in years (not even bug fixes or to keep up with new iOS). With my phone’s latest update, the app won’t even open - it just crashes every time. I’ve reached out to her support email as well as her directly on instagram. No response. I can only assume she’s abandoned the app and passively accepting the income from unsuspecting subscribers.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-12-11, version 1.0.47*

It’s not opening with the new iPhone update.

### 1/5 — No available program

*2025-12-10, version 1.0.47*

App does not let me access any programs

### 1/5 — DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

*2025-07-26*

I saw 2 trusted influencers endorse this app and maternity workout plan so I was excited to try it out. I bought the annual plan for $105. What a huge waste of money. The app is complete garbage. It 1/2 worked for 1 workout and then stopped working completely. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, closed out of the app many times an nothin. Then I thought “maybe it’s just a bug and the creator will fix it with the next update”- also mind you I have an iPhone 16 so it’s not like it’s the device is the problem. I kept holding out. And now 10 months later I’ve never gotten to use The plan I paid for. Do not waste your money on this terrible app. Can’t speak for the workouts themselves since I never got to complete a single one.

### 1/5 — Unable to use

*2024-03-24, version 1.0.47*

Love the training programmes and am a big fan of your social media content BUT the app simply doesn’t work. I’ve contacted support and they were helpful in trying to resolve, they created me a new subscription TWICE, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and run system updates…despite this I am a able to compete one or two workouts and then the app goes back to freezing when it does open, not getting past the Home Screen, unable to click anything within the app or it simply shuts itself down. This has been happening for 2months so I’ve requested a refund.

### 1/5 — DO NOT SIGN UP - free trial is not free, scam

*2024-01-29, version 1.0.47*

I signed up for the free trial to see if I’d like the app and I was charged the full program amount which was $99. When I reached out to them they refused to give me my money back so now I am stuck with an app that I paid $99 for and will not use. Beware if you are signing up for the free trial - it is not free.

### 1/5 — App needs a lot of improvement

*2023-12-26, version 1.0.44*

I haven’t been able to use the app since I purchased. Hopefully this will change soon or I’ll need a full refund. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2023-11-28, version 1.0.43*

The app is unbelievably glitchy to the point that it’s unusable. At one point, two instructional videos were playing simultaneously and I needed to close the app just to make it stop, which meant I had to restart my workout, and then the glitch happened again. Unusable, even if the content is decent.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2023-07-09*

I purchased the postpartum program but it is so hard to follow or start because of how each "workout" is set up. I don't need someone talking the whole time, I know giving instructions and going over how activating the core is important but to talk through the whole thing is just not necessary. I thought it would be a great program because I do want to get started on doing more intense workouts but I just couldn't even get past the first week. This was ultimately such a waste of money. The app is also not even loading for me anymore, it would just automatically close and not show me anything when opened, I paid for a something I can't even use.

### 1/5 — App glitches/can’t access workout

*2023-05-14, version 1.0.34*

I was very excited to start the postpartum program. Since logging in, the app has been glitching. It is frozen on a screen. I’ve restarted my phone, updated phone and app. One time it showed me a new screen but then froze on that new view. As a postpartum mom I have minimal time to workout and have spent my entire “free” time trying to trouble shoot the app and see the program I paid good money for. If it was a free program I would expect this but not for a $99 program.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-02-23, version 1.0.47*

I just love that there are exercises for all levels of fitness and all the availability that a person might have. So if you are busy and have little time: there is something for you! But if you have all the time for a good training session there is also something there for you!

### 5/5 — Love this App!

*2026-02-07, version 1.0.47*

This app has been amazing to give me programs I can do in my home gym. Especially love her maternity and postpartum programs!

### 5/5 — Do it now

*2025-07-17*

I started this program about 4 months postpartum and the only thing I regret is not starting sooner! The early weeks are geared towards connecting with the breath and engaging deep core, while also starting to incorporate other full body movements. This program is a work out and PT for my pelvic floor - a real win when time is limited with a new baby. It’s also nice to just press play - one less thing I need to think about. I’m excited for the weeks ahead and safely building back to my pre-pregnancy abilities. You can do this, mama!

### 5/5 — Great app, great program!

*2025-07-12, version 1.0.47*

App is easy to use, really like the built in rest, alternative options, and tutorials within the workout itself.

### 5/5 — Keeps me active during pregnancy

*2025-05-17, version 1.0.47*

Love having an app to guide me through the safe exercises I can perform while pregnant

### 5/5 — Instructional

*2025-03-16, version 1.0.47*

Amazing. The biggest thing I’ve gained from this workout is FORM. It is a major difference in feeling muscles being activated when done properly. This is my favorite part of the app. There are modifications so I haven’t had to buy any equipment.

### 5/5 — Solid workout programs

*2025-02-20, version 1.0.47*

Onto my 10th block of 12 weeks workouts. So many to choose from. Great tutorial videos with each exercise. Plus substitute exercises so you can do the gym workout programs in the home gym without huge items like leg press, leg curl machines etc. Doesn’t neglect upper body like some “female” programs. Definitely stronger and leaner. Lots of different programs to select from so your don’t get stuck in a rut or bored !

### 5/5 — Great workouts

*2024-10-03, version 1.0.47*

She’s kicking my butt

### 5/5 — Great workouts

*2024-08-05, version 1.0.47*

I have dine several
Programs and I have loved it so far! Now after doing GYM and Building strength I am doing the maternity program❤️

### 5/5 — The absolute best

*2024-08-02, version 1.0.47*

I’ve paid for various plans and programs by renowned fitness experts and Katie has nailed programming and, most importantly, ease of use. This app removes guess work, the workouts will deliver results and all you have to do is hit “Purchase.” You won’t regret it.
