## What is Crewops?

Crewops reads the roster you fly: a fatigue read on the next duty, light and sleep windows for the layover, your estimated cosmic dose against the reference levels.
76 coaching cards opened by your own numbers. Worked out on your device.

FATIGUE READ ON THE NEXT DUTY
- Eight factors from the roster: WOCL encroachment, an 04:00-07:00 report, FDP past 10 and 12 h, four and six sectors, rest under 12 and 10 h, duty-day streaks, 7-day load, zone shift
- Scored 0-100, banded low, moderate or high at 30 and 60, each factor named with its points
- Not a biomathematical model, not an FRMS: it reads the roster back. Samn-Perelli and IMSAFE stay yours

COACHING FROM YOUR OWN NUMBERS
- 76 cards - 27 fatigue, 22 sleep, 15 body clock, 12 radiation - opened by a figure in your roster, the evergreen ones on a cool-off
- Each names its source - Fatigue Management Guide for Airline Operators (ICAO/IATA/IFALPA), Banks et al. 2010 in Sleep - and its evidence: strong, moderate, limited
- Recovery sleep, the drive home after a night duty, standby, deadhead, commuting, controlled rest, commander's discretion; nothing prescribed

BODY CLOCK, LAYOVER AND SLEEP
- Shift and direction, layover length, a strategy with its reason - hold home time, partial or adapt - days to re-entrain: 1 h a day east, 1.5 h west
- In station time: seek light, avoid light, sleep, a 40-minute anchor nap before a night report, caffeine cut-off, temperature minimum three hours before wake
- A sleep log you keep yourself, no Apple Health: seven-night mean duration, habitual wake as a circular mean, nights under 7 h and 6 h

COSMIC RADIATION, ESTIMATED
- The great-circle track in five-minute steps over climb, cruise and descent, on published dose rates by latitude and flight level
- Month, rolling 12 months and calendar year against 0.5, 6 and 20 mSv: the 2013/59/Euratom and ICRP 132 reference levels, not your limit
- A parametric estimate ignoring solar modulation, roughly 30% either way: not a CARI-7 run, not a dose record. Plus NOAA space weather

YOUR ROSTER, HOWEVER IT ARRIVES
- Portal sign-in in the in-app browser, the export caught on the device; NetLine/Crew (CrewLink) syncs from the app
- An .ics file, or a roster PDF read from its text layer on the device, OCR for scans; nothing uploaded
- 273 operator presets set the portal family and default rule set, among them presets for AIMS eCrew, Sabre CrewTrac, NetLine/Crew, FLiCA, Jeppesen Crew Portal, IBS iFlight, Leon; month view, versions, manual entry

DUTY, FTL MARGIN AND LOGBOOK
- FDP ceiling as rostered, minimum rest, cumulative duty over 7, 14 and 28 days and flight time over 28 days and 12 months, by rule set
- EASA ORO.FTL, UK CAA, FAA Part 117 or SHGM; UK CAA and SHGM compute on the EASA tables until a national exception is confirmed
- Month rhythm, flight map, logbook with EASA and FAA CSV export, a cabin-crew record, documents with expiry alerts

ON THE DEVICE
No account. Roster and health data are computed and stored on your device and never uploaded; health modules stay off until you turn them on.

CREWOPS PRO
Free: roster import, the fatigue read, IMSAFE, sleep log, logbook and documents, plus one coaching card a day. Pro: the other cards, six at a time, the FTL margins, month rhythm, body-clock plan and dose panels.

WHAT CREWOPS IS NOT
A personal planning tool. It does not decide whether you are fit to fly, gives no medical advice or diagnosis, and is not your operator's system of record. The rule sets model published FTL tables and guarantee no compliance; where Crewops does not model your scheme, use it as support, not as the source.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-30

Change history: every update to your roster, and what changed day by day, on the Roster tab.
Route map on the duty screen: each sector on the map, full screen with a tap.
Map hours now count flown sectors only, deadheads excluded. Planned hours not yet flown are shown separately under BLOCK.
New roster readers (beta): AIMS, CrewConnex, FLiCA, Leon, CAE Crew Access and calendar links. If we can't read your system yet, send us your roster in one tap.
A simpler roster source screen: one recommended route for your airline, the others one tap away.
Widgets and the Live Activity follow the app's colour theme. New Live Activity option: before report and throughout the duty.
Crew Circle: press and hold a day in the grid to see that day's flight. Invitations now include the App Store link.
Date format setting (DD.MM.YYYY by default) and reorganised settings.
Pro unlocks right after purchase.
Fixes: crew names appear on the right flight, importing a file no longer erases your history, the log streak is flight-based, legal rest has its own colour in the rhythm view.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-28

Crew Circle: share your roster with the crew you invite and see where they are. Free, through your own iCloud; health data is never shared.
Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and a Live Activity that counts down to report on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Flight notes: a note on every duty that stays when the roster is refreshed.
Today and the duty screen now share one clean card: each sector with its times, then report, release, FDP and max FDP. Pick local time or UTC under Me.
Roster changes are acknowledged by pressing and holding.
Airline search by name, IATA or ICAO code.
Long duty codes such as ONLINETRN are now read. Refresh your roster once after updating.
Motion: rolling numbers, filling bars and a shareable post-flight card. One switch under Me turns it all off.
Fixes: the FTL countdown is visible again, and the app opens reliably after moving between versions.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-28

iCloud sync between your own devices: optional, off by default, encrypted on the device with a key that never leaves your devices. Health entries stay on the phone.
Made for iPad.
Your roster in the phone's calendar, and a reminder before each report time.
Standby is now airport, home or reserve: the app asks, and counts each the way the rules do.
Crew-portal change notices are acknowledged inside the app, and every pull-to-refresh checks the portal.
67 crew-portal addresses verified; the portal's system is recognised automatically.
Health: monthly dose strip, monthly workload, heaviest duties on paper, and sleep advice next to fatigue, radiation and body clock.
Duties that start after midnight are filed under the day you report, not the UTC day.
Backup and restore from a file; health history moves separately.
Logbook export carries the registration column, and the 900-hour calendar-year limit is in.
New icon, and dozens of fixes.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-24
