## What is CrewPad PRO?

Pelesys CrewPad PRO is our next-generation suite of mobile training solutions developed specifically for the needs of the aviation industry. CrewPad PRO is the offline deployment and management platform designed for mobile utilizing a rich variety of media based learning content, courseware and documentation materials for flight crew, cabin crew and other airline personnel who require up-to-date, “operation critical” information.

CrewPad PRO includes an offline Learning Management System (LMS) which makes remote training a reality. There is no reliance on steady internet connections for course completion. CrewPad uses a state-of-the-art synchronization agent which automatically updates all applications and information hosted on each iPad allowing for seamless deployment of essential information. Training courses and training records can be downloaded to CrewPad, and once completed, synchronized with the Pelesys LMS and Qualification Management System (QMS) providing a secure, seamless training solution.

CrewPad PRO is compatible with Pelesys Training Management and Deployment System (TMDS) version 3.9.0 or later.

### 1/5 — One of the Worst App Experiences

I've had nothing but issues with this app. First off, resetting the password is a nightmare – the process is buggy and rarely works as expected. On top of that, downloading courses is a constant struggle. Half the time, it doesn't even load properly. And to make things worse, the app frequently crashes or restarts on its own. Overall, it's incredibly frustrating and unreliable. Definitely needs serious improvement.

The application is frustrating to use. If you switch applications then switch back, the volume mutes forcing you to end the application and restart. The programmers should go back to school and learn the skill of quality performance.

Changes

- Updated the user interface framework.
- When support information is enabled in the app, the support information is now available by tapping on the Support button from the left navigation menu. Previously this was displayed in the top right user popup window.
- On the login screen, the app no longer displays the "AutoFill" popover. This is because the iPad will automatically display the "Passwords" autofill option when the user taps on a text field and reveals the keyboard.
- When scrolling down the list of enrolled courses, a button now appears in the bottom right corner to return to the top of the list.
- When viewing the Home or Reference pages, the course image aspect ratio has been adjusted. This is to allow more information to be displayed in the panel in the future.
- Sorting has been implemented on the Home page. The list of courses can be sorted by Name, Expiry Date, and Launch Date. By default, the courses are sorted by Name. The default sorting can be set to a different option within the app.

Bug fixes

- In the app, learning time for non-CBT content is now tracked and synced back to the LMS. This aligns with the existing behaviour in LMS when launching non-CBT content and the learning time is tracked.
- Under the iPad settings, the app version for CrewPad PRO is now correctly displayed.

Bug fixes

Resolved a database error where the sync will fail after fulfilling one of the following conditions:

In between syncs, an enrollment is withdrawn or expired while reference access to the same course is also removed.

Switch users without removing the data from the previous user. There may be other causes of database errors and we will continue to monitor for any new causes.
