## What is Cribbage Keeper?

Cribbage Keeper is a clean, fast way to keep score for cribbage and remember every game you have played.

Record 2-player, 3-player, and 4-player team games. Track scores, skunks, and the little details that make a rivalry, then watch the stats build up over time: head-to-head records, win streaks, leaderboards, and the venues where you play best.

Playing for a friendly wager? Optionally set a rate per game and Cribbage Keeper tallies who owes what, with skunk and double-skunk multipliers. It is just a tally between friends: there is no betting and no real-money transactions.

Features:
- Score 1-on-1, 3-player, and team games
- Rivalries and head-to-head records that build automatically as you play
- Leaderboards and detailed player stats
- Track the venues where games are played, with per-place stats
- Add photos to your games
- Organize games into clans, and share a clan with the people you play with
- Syncs privately through your own iCloud account across your devices

Cribbage Keeper has no ads, no tracking, and no account to create. Your data lives in your iCloud and stays yours.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.4.0 — 2026-10-09

Play in more than one clan? Your stats now follow you across all of them.

- Rivalries show your all-time record against the same opponent or team across every clan you share
- Your Career stats now count each teammate and opponent once, even if they're in several clans
- The game map can show every clan at once, with pins colored by clan
- Switch between clans' records of the same venue right from the venue page
- Clan admins can pick a clan color, and new clans start on a color no other clan is using
- Fixed: 2v2 team records were under-counting losses

### 2.0 — 2026-08-19

Reverse cribbage

A new two-player mode where the first player to peg out loses. It records, scores and tracks like any other game, and it is marked clearly so you can tell one apart at a glance.

Where you play

- Games now remember the town, state and country they were played in, not just coordinates.
- Give a place a photo, a category and its own match radius.
- Address search suggests as you type, so you can record a game somewhere you are not.
- Venue pages show records, top matchups and who owns the place, and you can share a venue card.
- New Passport achievements for the number of different towns, states and countries you have played in.
- Set a player's home venue, visible from both the player and the venue.

Rankings and stats

- A skunk-weighted ranking for each clan. The clan admin chooses whether to publish it to everyone, and any player can opt out of appearing on it.
- Career totals on a player's profile, adding up their games across every clan on your device.
- Ties on leaderboards and stat tiles now read correctly instead of stacking up.

Playing with other people

- A game you cannot edit now says who recorded it, so it is clear why.
- Pull down on Home or History to refresh.
- Claimed accounts are marked on the roster and on profiles.
- A proper clan screen, the option to hand the default to another clan, and a delete that really deletes instead of quietly moving games somewhere else.
- Recovery when a share is stopped or a shared clan gets stuck, without deleting the app.

Getting started

- A short welcome, a How It Works guide in Settings, and empty screens that tell you what to do next.

Share cards and recaps

- Recaps written on your own device for match, standings and trip cards, with a custom date range and a card that scales to fit everyone in.

Also a long list of fixes, including venue changes showing up everywhere immediately, paused games no longer counting as a loss, filters that only offer options with games behind them, larger tap targets, and one consistent meaning of skunk throughout.
