This one is sluggish and the pegging board is hard to see. **Developer response:** Hi, if you are finding anything "sluggish", you can simply increase the Animation Speed option in the game settings (select the "Options / Settings" button on the main game menu screen). At 100%, things will move extremely quickly. Also try the new Auto Deal and Auto Go options if speed is your goal. For the game board, if you would like to increase the contrast, try a different game board in the game settings. A darker game board will contrast the pegs even more so they are easier to see. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2023-06-07* The only thing that’s a bit disappointing is the timing of the cards being dealt. Previous to this update, it was annoying to play with some people who discarded before your hand was even dealt (!), and I’m assuming you were trying to address this issue. Unfortunately, now it’s too slow to fully enjoy the game. I hope you reverse this change! **Developer response:** Hi, this update actually includes many more options to control the speed of the game, so you can set it to whatever feels right to you. Go to the "Options / Settings", and change the animation speed anywhere from a very slow and steady "0%" to the instantly fast "100%". You can also choose other options like Automatic Deal or Automatic Go, which can greatly increase the speed of play for those looking for that. Just as a side note, when playing others who have chosen a faster animation speed or deal option, they may have their cards and select their discard still before you, but that is simply because they had more time to do so. New graphics/action seem slower. **Developer response:** Hi, if you would like the animation to be faster, there is an option in the game settings for Animation Speed. If you turn it to 100% it will essentially disable the card animations and make it nearly instant. You can also find options for Automatic Deal and Automatic Go, which can greatly increase the speed of play for those looking for faster games. We are constantly working to make the game better for everyone. ### 2/5 — Hard to have conversations *2023-06-02, version 2.8.34* Not fond of new format ### 2/5 — Horrible disconnect rules *2019-02-08* Like the game but allowing an opponent to just disconnect when they’re losing and force the other player to be available 24 hours later to finish the game is nonsense. I’m up 40 pegs so the other player disconnects on purpose hoping I won’t rejoin the game 24 hours later. So every time I start a game I have to make sure I’ll be available 24 hours later when the person losing inevitably disconnects? **Developer response:** Hi, the disconnect rules are there for a very important reason. When playing in a Contest that involves a real cash prize, it is critical that the game be played through to completion in order to be fair to everyone. If you can not make the original scheduled time, simply go to the game and request a reschedule. It defaults to schedule completion at 24 hours later, but you have the option to extend that many times if that does not work for you. By having such a system, everyone can be sure that disconnecting will never result in a win incorrectly. Because we can't reasonably have access to everyone's personal calendar or leave the system open for random time selections that would result in extensive abuse, starting at "the same time tomorrow" but allowing for reschedule is the most fair to everyone. Still, if ever you find that you need more time, simply email us and we can work to accommodate a new time. Furthermore, if you believe someone is regularly disconnecting intentionally, please take a screenshot and send it to us for review as we can and do ban users for violation of our terms. ### 2/5 — Rigged *2018-11-30* I love the game, unfortunately it’s rigged. It would be great if the deals were random instead of preprogrammed. A real game, not rigged. I’ve played cribbage since I was a child and I have never seen so many four of a kinds, double runs, 16, 20, 24 point hands in my life. Was playing a highly rated competitor and he smoked me with every hand. Each was at minimum of twelve points. This is not random dealing. **Developer response:** Hi, as we explain in great detail in the game Help and FAQ, all shuffling and dealing is always completely fair and random. None of these things are pre-programmed or anything else like that in any way. ### 2/5 — Unrealistic *2018-07-09* Game is fine to pass time but not much more. AI consistently averages 9+ points per hand and above average cribs. Player always discards to crib first this allows AI to achieve higher scores.
