I think this of a glitch because I have lost 8 out of 9 opening matches when playing Afghanistan. ### 4/5 — Problems with Test Championship *2020-08-08* Was playing the international career mode, doesn’t let you play the test championship final after the year 2025, also, the test championship doesn’t have 6 series, sometimes I end up playing 7, sometimes 5, Finally, this issue has been coming up in all previous editions, whenever I get an opposition all out on the last ball of a limited overs format, the game reduces an over from the scoreboard and all the stats get skewed **Developer response:** Hi, the Test Match Championship issues have been fixed in the patch we've just released (v1.3) ### 4/5 — Great game but needs improvements *2020-07-08* I love this game so much but I think there needs to be another version of the game where you don’t have to pay. Keep up the good work though!😀👍🏻 ### 3/5 — Pretty good *2020-07-07* In general it’s still a great game, however it infuriates me how the computer seems to so often start playing like a genius when there’s a target to chase. If the target is even remotely gettable, all pitch conditions and your bowler skills go out the window and the opposition batsmen just start smashing it everywhere. Happens far too often. A team chasing 350 in the 4th innings should be a once in 100 occurrence, not happen every second match. ### 4/5 — Jk *2020-06-22* Please try creating a tournament for online play may a tournament where people pick players like ipl and then play with them. Not sure if it’s possible but just a suggestion ### 4/5 — Great game but can always improve *2020-06-04* I really enjoy this game but as a bit of feedback the test championship doesn’t seem to work as intended past the first season I.e I’m playing as Ireland and ranking 6th but can’t play in the test championship. Would be great if that is fixed ### 4/5 — Good but need to fix spin bowlers *2020-05-30* Very much enjoy the game however you need to sort out spin bowling. Too often are average spinners getting 5-6 wickets before lunch on the first day and consistently 10 in the match, even when the pitch is supposedly not spinning. I wouldn’t necessarily have a problem with this but it’s not consistent for me, in the same match where my batters have been reduced to looking like schoolboys by an average spinners my spinner will often go 30 odd overs with no wickets at over 4 an over. This is not how cricket works, if the pitch is going to be a minefield for spinners on one team it should behave the same for spinners on the other. Also don’t get me started on the shots my batters play when they’re set quite defensive when I’m trying to see out a match. As I said the game is enjoyable but these issues among others often make the game unplayable at times for me. ### 3/5 — Make the whole game free *2020-04-25* This game is very fun to play but for someone who isn’t willing to spend £9 on a mobile game that comes out every year. And with only 6 games then a reset there is just no point in playing. However I know I would play this game for hours a day if I could establish myself a cricketing career ### 4/5 — Good game *2020-02-09, version 1.2* My suggestions is that you should add trainers and coaches. Another suggestion is that you should add a Happiness bar if the player if a player isn’t happy he can change his team. Last suggestion is that “PLEASE MAKE THE GRAPHICS BETTER”!!! ### 3/5 — Squad update *2020-02-02* Any chance of a squad update soon. It’s incredibly frustrating playing a South African career because half the players disappear after one season. Such as Gerald Coetzee who burst on to the scene start of the season. Also the wages need updating. I’ve noticed good players demand wages that mean clubs can’t keep them. Wiaan mulder disappearing after 2 season every time I play because no club can afford his 2 million wage demand is just infuriating. I feel like one of the biggest draw backs to this game is once the European summer is over they stop caring and Southern Hemisphere teams get neglected until the new release. ### 4/5 — Cannot restore purchase *2020-01-19* Cannot play it on different devices unless you pay for the full game again. However, you can’t restore the purchase you make. I bought the full version, and restored by device. Also please update squads and players like surely if you’re charging $8 you can update the big bash squads... ### 4/5 — Needs an update *2019-12-14* Players like Marnus Labuschagne should be worth much more and be decent enough to play for Australia. Same goes for many other current and ex-international players, like Matthew Renshaw and Joe Burns. Game is worth your money and is addicting, just needs to make a few changes - 4 stars. ### 4/5 — Always enjoy, could improve in some minor areas *2019-10-11* Have had these games since 2014 for PC, and found a copy of 2001 the other day. The engine is largely unchanged from 2001 but I suppose there’s not much to improve there, it’s a great concept. The problem is that it doesn’t compare to Football Manager at all, and could do with more on contract negotiations and so on. The only area where the game has gone backwards in recent years - and I don’t know when they stopped doing this - is the fact the background is the same for every ground. I am a massive cricket and have played and followed for 35 years. Tactics and performance seem completely unrelated to what happens on screen. Opposition smacking the ball around for 4’s and 6’s at a run rate over 12/over regardless of what tactics you use. You either plod along at a rate of 5/over or put up aggression and get out very very quickly. Tail Enders regularly put up scores of 30 plus but yours rarely get out of single figures. Load of rubbish. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money ### 1/5 — I want my refund *2019-07-25* This game costs too much considering the only thing that changes each year are the teams and updated player databases. No new animations and when I need to score quick runs with the tail I’ve had at least 3 games where I’ve been 5 down and been bowled within the next 10 deliveries. Even on normal difficulty I seem to struggle in the simplest of situations. The fact that teams can easily score quick runs without losing wickets but when I go slightly attacking I almost always lose the game. I would like a refund for a game that has been incredibly disappointing. ### 1/5 — Listen to the one star reviews *2019-07-11* Honestly this game is not worth it. Totally and utterly random, simply no chance in the 20 over, slim chance in the one day and utterly random in the 4 day. Strategy games like this should reward you for making sensible decisions around training, selection etc. This one just generates random performances and results, may as well not bother. Unfortunately, the game disappointed me a lot. Especially when you try to increase the aggressiveness of the batsman they will get out no matter if thats the last over or a very set batsman. If you instruct batsman to play aggressive they will surely get out even 5 wickets in an over. I’ve been playing this game for years and I can count on one hand the number of matches i’ve actually won. Even when the odds are stacked heavily in my favour, something will always happen to ensure that I lose the game. Doesn’t matter what tactics you employ, i’ve tried just about every combination possible, it doesn’t work, half my batsmen are gone before I reach 50 runs in most games. Every game is heavily biased in favour of the opposition. Also, the game has hardly developed for years, it’s exactly the same every year apart from an updated database, there’s simply not enough to make me want to keep paying out for this every year. I was devastated. I still play the game (AND LOVE IT) but just wished they improved the spin bowling and more shots added! Think if you’ve got recent editions it’s not worth the upgrade.
