I have played this game at great length and have enjoyed it thoroughly for the most part. I am yet to play short format cricket on this game so I am unable to share my opinion on it. However I have played numerous test matches and test series. From my experience so far, it is incredibly easy for the AI to score 350-400+ runs in a single test match innings, regardless of conditions. It has become a very common occurence and therefore providing an unrealistic experience for the user. In comparison, the user's team often struggles to get anywhere near this unrealistically high score set by the AI - without mention of another innjngs to bat. I find that it is way too easy for the batters to score runs and the chance of wickets are extremely low. I find it somewhat suspicious that, I was chasing around 200 on a flat wicket with two days left in the test match, and I was bowled out for 156. My batsmen were playing incomprhensively quickly despite thee aggression meter being on the lower side. Due to them playing at an unnessecarily quick rate they got out cheaply. Overall, I think it is way too easy for the AI to set massive totals, and consequently the User's team being bowled out quickly and cheaply. Apart from this it hasn't been to depressing. ### 3/5 — Enjoy the game but one thing REALLY bothers me *2022-06-20, version 1.7* I play regularly and do enjoy it for what it is, but there is a huge issue. I regularly get 10-15 players selected for the Hundred and without fail they come back horrendously out of form. Same for those who are away on internationals for some time. This really does need to be sorted as I’m at my wits end…. ### 3/5 — Decent but *2022-06-01, version 1.7* The game itself is a good concept although the graphics, lack of reviews, poor fielding and unrealistic shots ruin the experience. Overall matches are just won by chance. If these problems were fixed this game would be much more fun and also more realistic ### 2/5 — Money money *2022-04-08, version 1.7* Why do you have to pay money. It’s not worth it. If they make another one then please make it better and make money another way. Other then that pretty good ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money *2022-01-16, version 1.4* So I’ve been a big fan of this game since they first released it, but the gameplay has barely changed since then, it’s one thing to update a database, however if you want people to part with money year after year, give them something for it, still no drs integrated, same highlights and game engine as the day it first launched, like I said, probably best to keep your money in your pocket this year ### 3/5 — Central contracts *2022-01-15, version 1.4* Would be nice as England international captain could select which players get a central contract. For example if I were to develop a young player at county level and then use him in the primary international team. I could be paying (wasting) £70k a season for a player that may play 2 county games all season. No new central contracts are issued after the existing players (even though some in my game retired). Would be nice at the start of each season I could select which ones a centrally contracted ### 2/5 — Good but not after a while *2022-01-11, version 1.4* I was playing an Australian first class match (batting). It was the 25th over and my computer opponent decided to bowl Nick Larkin who has never bowled in first class, list A or T20. I would be fine with this (players who don’t bowl doing so) but not whilst your opponent is 2/83. Batting feels very repetitive if you play against the same team twice because you know who they are going to bowl next over. I was playing a one day game and 3 different players bowled 10 consecutive overs. That doesn’t happen in real life. A lot of the batsmen’s preferences feel quite random. David Warner has a ‘strong leg side preference despite being one of the best cover drivers I have ever seen. Even Rickey Ponting has a ‘strong front foot preference’. I think you know that can’t be right. Also fix the gameplay. Your player can bowl a full ball and yet somehow the batsman plays a straight drive off the back foot. We need a larger variety of shots. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was less than 10 different animations in the game (referring to batting). The game is also way too difficult. I have to play on ‘V easy’ to even have a chance at winning. I like how you can sign different players from around the world to a contract in the Australian T20 league although it’s not in any other leagues (that I could find). It would be nice to see an IPL auction (like Real Cricket do) ### 1/5 — Good but mad. *2021-12-12, version 1.3* Yes this is a great game, but the fact you have to pay for what? It just crashed when you pay bad rating ### 4/5 — Decent *2021-11-12, version 1.3* Nice game good stats enjoy it but should add more international teams to be playable as well as should be more first class teams to be able to take over as well as being able to start your own team in the county championship for example ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2021-10-15, version 1.3* Boring as faaaaaark ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2021-10-11, version 1.3* In hope I once again downloaded the latest version of CC. Having tested by playing a free 20/20 game and found that yet once again nothing obvious had changed other than the stats, I deleted within 15mins. Graphic animation is the same as ever - ridiculously poor by modern sports app standards. The same is true of the voice commentary - repetitive and tedious. The developers clearly do not pay any attention to any of the countless negative reviews. Why anyone would pay for this is beyond me. ### 1/5 — T20 scoring system ruins the game *2021-09-29, version 1.3* Not too many complaints regarding the longer format on this simulation engine, but 50 over and 20 over is so so broken when it comes to scoring rates and fields. I’ve had players who average 10 with a strike rate of 110 hitting 40+ with a strike rate of 180-200 against bowlers with an economy of 6-7.5... even with custom fields set to reduce scoring rates or try to take wickets! I’ve checked the online forums and it seems there is no way to fix this, so I guess I’ll just have to quick sim every game in the 50 and 20 over format... This game is pointless, everything pre decided before you start playing. Absolute waste of time. Shambles of a game ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2022-03-26, version 1.7* Great database and game modes and is relatively fun but everything other than test/first class is completely unplayable with batting collapses in 80% of games for the player and cpu will comfortably hit 12-15 an over for extended periods of time. It is completely unbalanced. I conceded 350 runs in consecutive ipl matches and was bowled out for less than 150 in both. You can be cruising to a win in a t20 match ie they need 120 from 8 overs and Ireland will hit 50+ in 2 overs and win with 2 overs spare. It’s unplayable but longer format is fun. ### 1/5 — The AI is too strong *2022-03-15, version 1.7* The AI is way to strong even on east mode. When playing in notable places such as Lords, the animation reflects it instead of showing a generic stadium, and there is an extensive amount of statistics and diagrams on each player and team’s history, something other games available on mobile cannot match. Along with in-match data about each player’s performance across endless graphs and tables, this reflects a commendable amount of effort put into making the game. Bug in the challenge cup, always seems to miss a game.
