It’s laggy and very hard to do much of anything with. Even worse is the app is all I can use now that the website doesn’t work on my laptop. Looking through your uploaded designs is impossible because it jumps back to the beginning while scrolling every time. Clicking on and dragging objects on the canvas is impossible. It was so much better before. Now it’s a task doing anything on the app. Almost don’t even want to use it anymore. ### 1/5 — Glitchy as ever! Everything struggled to connect, app runs slower now on the Ipad version, phone, windows laptop.. everything i tried for the last 4 hours, and now i can only select iron on materials on a maker 4... I don’t know what the software team is doing adding 89mb update of nonsense to break the app, but they should revert it to make it at least work on a 400 dollar plus machine. I’m gonna start looking into other machines and software after this. Oh and add a custom save feature for the mat arrangements. That would be a simple add in that would be beneficial. You won’t find it with this app. It’s unintuitive even for someone with graphic design software knowledge. And it’s extremely buggy. Freezes up, disconnects from cricut repeatedly in the middle of projects regardless of which wifi network I’m on and even when I’m literally standing in front of the machine with my iPad. (So yes, I’m well within 15 feet.) I was already exasperated, but when the app just randomly purged my library of hundreds of bookmarked images and the project I was working on for a special event, I had to come vent. It is no exaggeration to say I have never hated an app more than I hate this one. I would not get a cricut again knowing how infuriating it is to use the app. ### 1/5 — Can’t load anything anymore *2026-08-14, version 6.72.0* Went to use my design space this evening and could not open any of my projects and kept getting an error saying that it’s not visible at this time, and keep getting the error failed to load data when trying to do anything else, when can we expect this to be fixed ? I’m not sure if they changed the way to do things but recently they changed the option to change the color for “Offset” effect! I cannot! I’m so mad right now. I loved using that feature to make my toppers look cleaner and nicer but now I can’t even change the color and I’m stuck with an ugly dark grey color! Seriously ?? Why?? I literally almost pulled my hairs out! Please fix this or change it back! **EDIT** I kept trying to figure it out and the ONLY way I can change the offset color background is by using one of their own images! This really bugs me! J’adore la qualité des smart matériel et les nouveautés j’adore. L’application est super, je travaille a la fois sur téléphone et tablette c’est d’une fluidité exquise. Le seule bémol c’est que les projets et les images pour la plupart proposés son payant ( cricut accès 10€ ). Pourquoi ne pas faire payer que les projets les plus complexes et les images sous licence payant ? The other shapes insert in the canvas except for the line shape. Support contacted me surprisingly. I was about to leave a ticket on the app but I tried tonight and everything works as it should. Anytime I hit make my composition times out whether I’m using my phone or my tablet and then after it brings up the window that says my project timed out, if I let it sit there instead of clicking ok, after a while it will then pop up with the screen, showing it on the mat ready to cut, but I’m not able to create it because the window that previously popped up saying my composition timed out makes me click OK and then set me back to the original page to create it again.
