I’ve tried 27 places in Scotland - no crimes. I tried 20places in England from Newcastle to Dover - crimes everywhere. It would be nice to think all Scots were law-abiding but we know we’re not. So, Crime Watch UK, how’s about you cover the whole of the UK. Or give me my money back. ### 1/5 — Updates *2024-05-17* Does not update enough better off with local WhatsApp and it’s not very informative I would want something that warns me if there is a local break in or disturbance ### 1/5 — Crime reported but not shown *2024-01-18* I’ve had my motorcycle stolen and a week later the lady over the road had her car stolen,it’s been three months and yet it doesn’t appear on the crime map. Don’t bother, i can tell you this app is very accurate. Just silly ppl had a bad day and toke onto this great piece of art. I can reassure you that from personal research the crime reports are accurate and the main amazing thing. Is that they are super detailed. Something that astonished me was the fact that it had even the thpe of crimes. Because it seems like the police can’t catch anybody. Almost every report I read it states ‘No Suspect Identified’. If true, it’s a worrying statistic. ### 5/5 — Must have app *2021-10-24* Love this app. Once you've been burgled and then have someone decide to try and break in for your car keys ( while in bed 9am on a Saturday morning ) it leaves you feeling rather jumpy. I find this app helps as I can check out what's happening within a mile of my area. Either there is no crime anywhere or the developer needs to look at their code. ### 2/5 — Good app. Poor privacy *2026-03-27* If I’m paying for a subscription, I should not be faced with a cookie consent dialog that wants me to either consent to hundreds of trackers, or go through them all ONE BY ONE in order to turn them off. I know this is sometimes produced by 3rd party components in an app, but tbh, that’s the developer’s problem, not mine. I’ve cancelled my subscription and deleted the app. This is happening too often. ### 2/5 — App of Ads *2026-02-22* Potential to be a good app but every thing you press goes to an Ad or subscribe screen! How can anyone even test it before purchase? You need to rethink your marketing strategy to pull in users.
