## What is CrimeLens?

CrimeLens turns the ground beneath your feet into a map of real criminal history.

Stand on any city and discover the cases that happened right there — solved and unsolved alike — drawn from more than 100 years of public records and press reporting. Over 10,000 verified cases across cities worldwide, each one a documented event with its original sources one tap away.

This isn't sensational fiction. Every case is a real, sourced incident: the people, the dates, the place, and links to the press and court records behind it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Explore a dark, cinematic map of verified cases near you
• Open a full case file: what happened, where, when, and how it was resolved
• Read the original press articles and public records for each case
• Filter by type — homicide, terrorism, fraud, kidnapping, organized crime and more
• Follow a case and get a quiet alert when new records or reporting surface
• Share a clean, printable case-file PDF
• Search any city in the world and walk its criminal history

VERIFIED, NOT INVENTED
Cases are curated from public record and press, with citation density that separates documented incidents from noise. If a pin is there, there's a paper trail behind it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your location is used only to surface nearby cases and is matched on your device. You can continue on this device without an account, keeping everything local.
