Always personable, and the Hot Chocolate Freeze is my favorite and they are helpful when you order coffee for catering. Helping you carry it to your car. The only complaint I had is a two day battle with the app….it did not like the “tokens” I would put in and gave me Errors for two days…I finally got my app working and BAM….it’s amazing and easy to navigate! I am not a coffee drinker and I love that they have things other than coffee…like chocolate! ### 5/5 — Poor communication to store *2022-10-14* Love the coffee and the staff at the shop in Clintonville, unfortunately there seems to be some poor communication between ordering on the app and it getting to the store. I order a regular coffee on the app 15-20 minutes before I arrive to the store just to make sure I can quickly walk in and pick it up, and I get asked by the staff if I placed an order while I’m waiting inside for it almost every time. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2024-09-06* I have so many gift cards as teacher gifts and I uploaded them all to the app like I do with Starbucks. With this app I can NOT combine my gift cards with each other, I can NOT use my gift cards in the store since they are on my app. I CAN ONLY USE THEM when ordering through the app. I strongly advise anyone to not upload any gift cards onto this app. I have about 10 with balances remaining of ~.50-$3.00. Like every other coffee/food ordering app in the entire app-verse, there’s no bar code to scan for orders made in the actual cafe. This is per your own employees who are just as baffled as to why it only works on pre-orders at the drive thru. PREorders only! If you walk in or drive up, sorry, no points! Hello developers, maybe check out every competitors’ apps that have barcodes to scan with ANY order. Guess I’ll just get a table and order from there next time. If I go back. It’s about the app. There are both pros and cons, but I’m going to list the cons first: * Does not list all syrups in list of optional customizations. This means you CANNOT purchase certain drinks through the app - and unfortunately, the app is the only way you can earn points. * No option to distinguish between drive through orders and in-store pickups - this really matters since you can’t earn points if you purchase at the register, only if you use the app. If you use the app while in the store, you must either personally let the staff know it’s for you or write that info into a notes-to-the-barista submission form at checkout. * It makes you pick your location and time of pickup twice - once before you add items to your order and once again before checking out.
