## What is CrisisGo?

CrisisGo helps prepare those individuals that are responsible for others during a crisis. By taking Emergency Response Plans out of an organization’s three-ring binder and putting them onto smart phones, iPads, and desktops, CrisisGo is putting emergency response plans into the palm of the hands of those who need it most.

Use CrisisGo for:

• Sending alert notifications to responders
• Providing crisis checklists, communication messaging, and ongoing crisis text messaging
• Presenting building maps for evacuations and rosters
• Allowing for individual and broadcast video communications that are then recorded to the server

Key Features:

• A login and password from your organization is required
• A web portal is used to update emergency plans to publish content to your iPhones and iPads
• Continuous improvement is achieved by validating an emergency plan using the crisis checklist during drills
• Make your organizations emergency plan actionable

CrisisGo is the most complete mobile crisis response software available.

CrisisGo is now working with school districts across the nation and in Canada to transform their existing emergency response plans into actionable checklists for their staff.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life

### 5/5 — Awesomeness

*2024-02-10, version 6.21.0*

When seconds matter, CrisisGo keeps you connected and gives you the necessary safety tools to protect yourself and others.

### 1/5 — Dangerously counterintuitive

*2023-10-30, version 6.20.2*

This app sets off the LOUDEST sound. If there were a real threat and you needed to hide, this would give you away in an instant. Just establish a group chat or something and it will accomplish the same goal, it would just be actually safe.

### 1/5 — Battery draining, unrealistic use

*2023-09-29, version 6.20.2*

It defeats the purpose to have a crisis tool that does not work in a crisis. The problem with this app is that it drains the battery in your cell phone so that your cell phone has no more battery power so that the app can’t run so I cannot respond to a crisis. I’ve tried to turn off the background app usage and I’ve not been able to find a way to do so. I refuse to use my personal phone using this app at work to have the battery drained.

### 2/5 — Fails

*2021-09-30, version 6.13.0*

Have to reload the app daily after deleting it just to get the I pass. Have to screen shot the pass due to blank page when reopening the app.

### 1/5 — Bad app. No cookie for you

*2021-09-29, version 6.13.0*

This app is a battery killer and does not respect iOS’s text enlargement features. So many of the people that use this app cannot see the the tiny font but there’s no way to change it.

### 2/5 — In a real crisis, it could cause more problems

*2021-08-16, version 6.13.0*

In an actual crisis, I'd really prefer a better app. The user interface and UX are so convoluted and non-intuitive that this app could exacerbate things in a real situation. The audio alerts and various dings for events happen even during a hide-in-place situation. Basically, when you're doing your best to be as silent and alert as possible, your phone can give away your position. What kind of a benefit is that?!? (Hopefully, they’ve fixed this oversight by now.) During a drill, if it takes 15 clicks, taps, and swipes, to do a task, it's annoying, but won't cost lives. In a real scenario, it should be more intuitive and simple. If the programmers and app designers consulted with any real classroom teachers, they need more data points and feedback. Think about it: if there are only a half-dozen drills a year and each time teachers find it a challenge to use the app, then how will things go when the adrenaline is pumping, you and three other students are injured, and there are real-life consequences if you can't find little Timmy? It's barely more effective than holding up red, yellow, and green laminated cards across a quad.

### 5/5 — CrisisGo

*2021-06-22, version 6.11.0*

Amazing safety tool! Love this app!

### 5/5 — Fast

*2021-06-21*

Easy to send out alerts quickly and communicate.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2021-06-14, version 6.10.3*

This is an amazing app that not only helps to improve communication, but it also can show what to do in different type of situations, maps, etc.

### 5/5 — Perfect tool for school safety.

*2021-06-09, version 6.10.3*

The CrisisGo app has been a great addition to our school safety initiatives. The ease of use, uptime and accessibility during any type of emergency are all reasons that I give the CrisisGo app a 5 star rating.
