## What is Crispback?

Build a reheating schedule that sequences items sharing an appliance and includes a setup allowance before each heated item.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Tools and choose Batch Plate Planner.
2. Select up to five foods, portion size and setup allowance using your enabled appliances.
3. Review each estimated start and finish, account for earlier finishes and use a thermometer before serving.

Food methods, timers, stored-food tracking and favorites remain available. Searching for another food no longer silently removes already selected foods from the batch.

WHAT TO KNOW
One item per appliance is scheduled; different appliances may overlap. Setup time is a user estimate and may be insufficient for preheating or changing temperature. Timer completion never verifies food safety. Reheat leftovers to 165°F / 74°C throughout. Serve promptly or hold hot at least 140°F / 60°C, checked with a thermometer; the planner does not provide holding equipment.

iPhone and iPad.

### 3.0 — 2026-09-15

Appliance-Aware Batch Plate

Build a reheating schedule that sequences items sharing an appliance and includes a setup allowance before each heated item.

1. Open Tools and choose Batch Plate Planner.
2. Select up to five foods, portion size and setup allowance using your enabled appliances.
3. Review each estimated start and finish, account for earlier finishes and use a thermometer before serving.

### 2.1 — 2026-06-29

Crispback 2.1 adds Batch Plate Planner.

Choose up to five leftovers and Crispback now builds a finish-together reheating plan: what starts now, what waits, which appliance to use, how long each item runs, and when to shake or flip. The planner uses the existing method-ranking engine, portion scaling, microwave wattage setting, and your available-appliance settings.

This update also refreshes metadata, removes stale price wording, and adds unit coverage for the new batch-planning math.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-06-24

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, so every screen reads as a clean column. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-21

Crispback 2.0 — a pro upgrade for crispy-not-soggy leftovers, still 100% offline.

• New Tools tab hubs everything:
• Air Fryer to Oven converter (and back) with food-type profiles for temp and time.
• Temp Guide & live Thermometer Check: enter a probe reading and see cold / danger-zone / almost / safe against the 165°F target.
• "Left Out Too Long?" calculator: a clear verdict from how long it sat out and the room temperature.
• Crisp Tips library: 14 searchable anti-soggy techniques, plus per-food tips.
• Reheat History that auto-logs your reheats with stats and one-tap re-reheat.
• On-device "eat-by" reminders the day before a stored item's safe window closes.

All food-safety temps and times follow USDA guidance. No account, no network — everything stays on your device.
