## What is Cristovisión?

La Fundación CRISTOVISIÓN fue creada en Colombia en el año 2003, como una entidad sin ánimo de lucro dedicada a la creación, realización y producción de productos comunicativos con un énfasis evangelizador, promoviendo el bienestar social y el fortalecimiento de la espiritualidad de los creyentes.

El Padre Ramón Zambrano Echeverri, gestor de la iniciativa, tuvo como propósito inicial darle continuidad a la Santa Misa que venía siendo transmitida todos los domingos a las 7:30 de la mañana, por uno de los canales de televisión nacional. A partir de ese momento y gracias al apoyo mostrado por los televidentes, la obra CRISTOVISIÓN comenzó a abrirse campo en el medio, no sólo con proyectos de carácter comunicativo, sino también de orden social. En esencia, lo que pretende es servirle a la comunidad por medio de la enseñanza de la palabra de Dios.
 
El Canal Cristovisión está funcionando en el centro de Fontibón y está dispuesto al servicio de la familia, la ciudad y la Iglesia. Con el canal, se potencia la misión evangelizadora de la Iglesia y se logra el propósito de crear espacios más amables y atractivos “para ver el mundo con los ojos de Jesús”. Nuestra lucha es por favorecer la defensa de la vida y la promoción de los derechos humanos y los valores fundamentales: es el propósito de quienes nos hemos comprometido con la tarea evangelizadora desde los medios de comunicación. También, se ofrece a los Cristovidentes la posibilidad de que adquieran y refuercen actitudes que les permitan participar activamente en la construcción de una sociedad más solidaria, responsable, tolerante y en paz.
