### 3/5 — No support

*2026-05-12, version 33*

App is great, but it is missing the built in conversion factor to calculate Os on the EC135 single or double tank set up. There hasn’t been an update for 3 years, and the website for the dev is no good.

### 4/5 — Only one thing missing

*2025-01-21, version 33*

I love this app and I’ve been using it for years, both in the ER and on the ambulance. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to put in the ranges for drugs for my protocols so I could just put in the patients weight and see exactly what I need to draw up for IVP meds.

### 4/5 — Venous Blood Gas PLEASE

*2024-12-27*

This is a great app that was introduced to me when I started flying as a flight paramedic. My only complaint is that there is a ABG calculator that is extremely useful but no VBG calculator. Our point of care labs are most commonly VBGs from an IV line so can there please be a VBG calculator added? This is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

### 3/5 — No updates in 2 years

*2024-09-23, version 33*

See above.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Reference Tool

*2024-08-16, version 33*

My only complaint is that I didn’t come across it sooner.

Ultrasound updates?

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2024-07-12*

I just got this. I wish I had access to this when I was working, retired RN( active license) still like many, love to keep current. Having done so much in a long career ( like my wife) I was a Nurse before men were in the field. This has pharmacy information ( was at UConn in pharmacy school) before I dropped my 1-A, with a low draft number. Medic, changed after to Nursing with my wife. This has a wealth of information. OB-GYN( first male RN) early, decelerations) Point is I’ve never seen so much in one spot except PDR, or Taber’s.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We’re genuinely thrilled to hear that you’ve found so much value in our app. Your career journey is truly inspiring, and it’s an honor to know that our app resonates with someone who has contributed so much to healthcare over the years.

We’re especially touched by your kind words about the breadth of information we offer. Our team has worked hard to create a comprehensive resource, and it’s fantastic to hear that it stands alongside trusted names like PDR and Taber’s.

If there’s anything else you need or any suggestions you have, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to support healthcare professionals like you. You’re the ones that make us who we are. Thanks again for your support and encouragement!

### 5/5 — Chief of EMS

*2024-07-11, version 33*

A must have App for any paramedic or critical care service.

### 5/5 — International fixed wing medevac and Critical

*2024-05-01*

Easily and hands gown the best app to have at hand. I use this app on every trip whether to calculate O2 cylinder times or to pre calculate RSI doses in the event they may be needed. There is a lot to be said for removing cognitive load on the provider, specifically in emergency situations. The fact that the app is not dependent upon WiFi availability makes it my first go to for a ton of out of hospital uses

**Developer response:** Jed,

Thank you much for your fantastic review! We’re happy to hear how our app supports you while on your long flights , especially in critical situations and without the need for WiFi. It’s great to know it helps reduce cognitive load, making your important and challenging role just a bit easier. We look forward to continuing to support your efforts! Feel free to reach out anytime! Cheers!

*2024-04-14, version 33*

Great app, but can’t edit med doses to reflect my specific protocols

### 3/5 — Was great. Drip function calculator stopped working

*2023-12-15, version 33*

### 5/5 — Great app for flights clinicians/critical care

*2023-08-14, version 33*

This app is excellent!! I use it as a flight nurse and it gives me everything I need as a quick reference. I love the clinical calculators and pediatric reference as well. The design is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and works without Wi-Fi.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT!

*2023-05-20*

I’ve been using the app forever and it gets better all the time. I recommend it to everyone and wish it was shown to me many years ago! Started using it the heaviest when I first started working as a flight paramedic. Saved my bacon more than once.

Single elements of Critical are done better than apps that revolve around just 1 of the dozens of things it can be used for.

Keep making it great! Thanks for all you do.

### 5/5 — Great CCRN, CFRN, CCP, & FPC

*2023-05-18, version 33*

This app is easy to use. Company puts out updates & backed by a critical care team.

### 5/5 — Critical

*2023-04-26, version 33*

Use this app routinely in flight and on the rig. Great app to use in conjunction with our protocols!

### 5/5 — I don’t write reviews, get this app!

*2023-02-26, version 33*

This is HANDS DOWN the best app for emergency medicine. 911 EMS, or critical care transport.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer up to date

*2026-07-11, version 33*

I used to love this app but it is no longer current with aha guidelines (2015 ACLS) nor medical standards of care. A waste of money. 😢

### 1/5 — Not great

*2026-01-19, version 33*

I wouldn’t download this for free! Had so many good reviews I gave it a shot. It’s terrible. I’m incredibly frustrated that I wasted my money. You have many resources at your place off employment that far exceed what is available on this app. Don’t bother.

### 1/5 — Was great now doesn’t work

*2024-07-08, version 33*

This was a great app I showed all of my students. Any more the drip section no longer calculates the mL/hr. No matter what I put in it doesn’t do the calculations. I hope this is fixed.

### 1/5 — Review

*2023-12-06, version 33*

Not worth the money. Very little information in app.

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2022-12-06, version 33*

I bought the app and worked for a couple months only. Tried contact and have my money back but never got it. Please don’t waist your money

### 1/5 — Wont open

*2022-08-01, version 31.0*

After this past update, the app just closes immediately.

### 1/5 — Excellent resource for critical care transport.

*2022-07-31, version 31.0*

As of 7/31/2022 the application is crashing within 5 seconds of opening it. This seems to be since the update. Phone is also up to date on the latest from Apple (iPhone 13 pro max).

### 1/5 — App Crashes Since Last Update

*2022-07-29, version 31.0*

I use this app almost everyday while at work. I recently just updated the app; however, it will not load and crashes immediately. Please look into & fix; otherwise, thanks for a great product which is very helpful.

### 1/5 — Really

*2022-02-05, version 17*

Interface is ugly. And you don’t even have nitroglycerin but you have aspirin on RX list!? Nope.

### 2/5 — RSI missing

*2022-08-16, version 31.1*

What happened to RSI rapid sequence intubation part of the app???? This was very useful during a code! All you had to do was enter the weight and it gave you the recommended dose ranges for sedation and also for paralytics. Not happy… please put it back.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Trusted Critical Care Calculator

*2026-07-21*

I am an OG Critical Care Flight Paramedic who has worked in critical care medicine for over thirty years. I always had to do all of my calculations in my head, or on paper. The process took about ten minutes to confirm all of my calculations. I still double check my calculations with this app, and it is perfect every time. When seconds count in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine; This is the App you need!

### 5/5 — What I need

*2026-02-25, version 33*

I love this app! It’s so helpful in the little rural critical access hospital I work at where the nurse is also RT, pharmacist, and lab. Can it be updated to reflect 2025 ACLS guidelines?

### 5/5 — Best App

*2024-11-20*

Over the years I've been through a lot of medical apps. I've now had this app for years, and it is my go to app. Over the past almost 3 decades I've been an ICU and ER nurse, currently full time flight nurse/medic for the past 13 yrs. I have gifted and recommend this app many times. Cannot recommend this app enough.

### 5/5 — Foundational app for critical care transport

*2024-10-08, version 33*

I love this app for pharm reference on the go, the pediatric section, vent optimization. Just so many useful sections on it.

I would add an IV drug compatability checker.

### 5/5 — The best HCP app
