The only thing I wish it had was the ability to put in the ranges for drugs for my protocols so I could just put in the patients weight and see exactly what I need to draw up for IVP meds. ### 4/5 — Venous Blood Gas PLEASE *2024-12-27* This is a great app that was introduced to me when I started flying as a flight paramedic. My only complaint is that there is a ABG calculator that is extremely useful but no VBG calculator. Our point of care labs are most commonly VBGs from an IV line so can there please be a VBG calculator added? Having done so much in a long career ( like my wife) I was a Nurse before men were in the field. This has pharmacy information ( was at UConn in pharmacy school) before I dropped my 1-A, with a low draft number. Medic, changed after to Nursing with my wife. This has a wealth of information. I use this app on every trip whether to calculate O2 cylinder times or to pre calculate RSI doses in the event they may be needed. There is a lot to be said for removing cognitive load on the provider, specifically in emergency situations. I always had to do all of my calculations in my head, or on paper. The process took about ten minutes to confirm all of my calculations.
