## What is CRNCH?

Know what you can safely spend today—and exactly which card to pay next. CRNCH turns your balances, limits, and monthly budget into a week-by-week credit card payoff plan designed to lower utilization without turning your life into a spreadsheet.

How it works

1. Connect your cards through Plaid or add them manually
2. Set your monthly budget — the total you can put toward card payments
3. Crnch builds your plan in seconds

The engine figures out the optimal order: which cards to hit first, how much to put on each, and which utilization thresholds you'll cross along the way. Every payment recalculates the plan automatically.

Your plan, week by week

Each wave is one round of payments. Crnch shows you the exact dollar amount for each card, the utilization impact, and why that card was chosen. When you finish a wave, the next one appears with updated numbers.

Safe Spend simulator

Need to make a purchase? Crnch shows you how much you can spend without crossing a scoring threshold — and if you need more, it splits the charge across cards to minimize the impact.

What you see

- Today: your daily brief — what to pay, what you can safely spend, and the best cards to use
- Strategy: the full wave-by-wave roadmap with Spending Power projections
- Cards: every card's balance, limit, usage band, and statement date
- Settings: adjust your budget, manage your subscription, replay onboarding

Built for your credit score

Crnch doesn't just tell you to "pay more." It targets the utilization bands that scoring models actually care about — 90%, 70%, 50%, 30%, 10% — and crosses them in the order that moves your score fastest per dollar spent.

Privacy-first

Your financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Crnch never sells your data, never runs ads, and never shares your information with third parties for marketing. Bank connections are powered by Plaid, the same infrastructure used by Venmo, Robinhood, and thousands of other financial apps.

Subscription

Crnch Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $8.99/month or $59.99/year. Purchased through the App Store; payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-30

A clearer Today, a rebuilt Strategy, and payment tracking you can trust.

Today
• One move at a time: which card to pay, how much, and by when
• A wallet view that shows the room you have on each card

Strategy
• This month: what you've recorded, what's planned, and what's left
• Outlook: when your cards should reach your target, and the checkpoints along the way

Recording payments
• When you mark a payment as paid, CRNCH asks whether your balance already includes it, so nothing gets counted twice
• If a payment isn't confirmed yet, CRNCH plans conservatively and asks you to check the balance first
• Minimum payments are tracked separately, and you'll see which ones haven't been recorded yet

Also new
• Ask CRNCH what you can safely spend
• Add or update a card by uploading a PDF statement
• Sync now for manually added cards that match a linked bank account
• Shorter setup
• Better support for larger text sizes and smaller screens
• Plan accuracy and reliability fixes
