Ich finde, als Tourist in einem anderen Land sollte man zumindest guten Willen zeigen und ein paar Floskeln der Landessprache beherrschen. Außerdem ist es ein prima Gedächtnistraining, denke ich. It makes learning the words easier with a lot of repetition. There are reminders to keep you on track with daily learning. However, as I’m now in Croatia I have come across two words that have been challenged by a Croatian here. This states ‘please’ as ‘molim vas’ but in Split ‘vas’ is unknown. Also ‘excuse me’ is vastly different. There are many many words that are correct and used here but my faith in the app is reduced. The other disappointment for me is the cost to buy.
