It’s very helpful. I find the app to be a bit glitchy though and sometimes I can’t move forward or back out of filter settings etc. I also wish there were better stock palettes to choose from, but that being said it was very useful for helping me design my crochet project. It’s super laggy. The yarn choices could use some work as well. I totally get that this is more for colour choice but this app needs a lot more features and work on the functionality. The row counter feature was one I used all the time to save counts across different projects. This update has DELETED all my saved row counts and when trying to set up new ones they auto delete as soon as the app is closed. I love the way you can combine palettes to see if the colors actually work together and then generate basic patterns. I have no idea if/when the yarn options are updated, but I’ve had a lot of fun with this app. ### 5/5 — A total game changer for the colour shy crocheter *2024-12-01, version 1.3.5* I love colour, but find it difficult choosing colours for my designs. Crochet Studio has changed this hurdle for people like myself. You can upload a photo or other image that you like the colours of , then CS will find yarns in similar colours. Or you can browse inspiration palettes within the App & it will find yarns to match. Hopefully further development of the App will contain more yarns, but at this time I just change the yarn Brand for weight that is suitable for my needs & find a similar colour in the app, for example, I’m doing a blanket in Stylecraft chunky, but there aren’t any in the app as yet, so I’ve chose Scheepjes Chunky Monkey & this will now give me the amount of yarn required to make my blanket. Looking forward to seeing more creative items, such as stitches & different yarns.
