You know the usual plotting to take over the world when a bright light in the sky appeared. The man called himself Okron, and he blessed everyone with a very zesty and sweet sprite cranberry. It was a bright sunday afternoon when i stumbled across this game. I thought “What a blasphemous joke! Who in their right minds would lay their scallywags on this game!?” But then I installed it and my life changed. I recently got divorced and my children taken away. All those problems came back when I got this game. I bathed in these thoughts every morning last year and when I stopped thinking about it, I got the blues. When I first laid my fingers on this game I could think about all those problems again and I never wanted to stop. It has been 84 days since I last made contact with the world because I have been occupied playing this game. It completely changed my debate whether Call Of Duty: The last Frontier or Spiderman Aunt May should win. I think it’s a funny idea for Big L to chase you and catch you if you hit anything, but it has a couple bugs. Whenever I load into any level it says I failed it. And i thought to myself, oh golly, another day to just sit around and do nothing. But then out of nowhere, Mr. Cron jumped through my window with a can of sprite cranberry and an iphone. He tossed me both and as I cracked open the crisp can of cranberry and took my first sip, I was enlightened. The Christmas spirit was flowing through me. I thought it couldn’t get better, but I was wrong. I looked down at the phone and i saw something that made my eyes light up, a game by the name of cronberry rush. As I played the game, I realized not only is it a fun way to kill some time, but it is also a metaphor for life. We are all just like Evan Cronin, rolling out of control on things we love (family, friends, etc…) to get away from people who want to take said things from us. If we want to hang on to the things we love, we must dodge obstacles to get to the eventual finish line, where then and only then we can celebrate. I was on anti depressants. I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I drove to a local bridge and decided I was going to jump. Right when I was going to jump I got a ping from my phone that Cronberry rush came out. You saved my life. I now drink sprite cranberry daily and buy 10 bottles a day. Below is the issues I have experienced in this game. ADs are too frequent Colors are too dull (Except UI, that's fine.) Controls (Instead of moving by dragging your finger, use three lanes the character could move on, like Subway Surfers.) A transparent looped video of snow falling is placed onto the camera instead of actual particles moving. There should be an endless mode More Mechanics should be added Part of the map can be hidden from the camera The same game over animation plays (y’all didn't even bother to move the animation to match where the player does.) Summary: I like the concept a lot but it bothers me that this game was rushed and had virtually no effort put into it. ### 3/5 — Some big bugs *2022-11-26, version 1.6* I was very exited for this game but then it came out and I was disappointed. Good concept but a couple bugs like you will sometime die before you even start. Other times the sprites will be inside obstacles so you can’t get them. And the biggest problem is that the movement is not sensitive enough or the platform is too big and so you can’t move across the entire screen on a phone with out picking up your finger and that’s hard to do without dying. ### 4/5 — Leaderboard glitch *2022-12-11, version 1.10* To the developers of this game, their is something wrong with the leaderboard for global. It says i have 1,066 but i really have 2,000. Also, after i saw that i got a couple more sprites but the leaderboard still said i had 1,066. I quickly tapped the download button, hope high. When the game finally downloaded, I was blown away! I couldn’t have imagined it being this good, even with the high hopes that I had previously held. This game has everything ranging from Lebron James to skeletons. The graphics fit the play style of the game perfectly. This game has all the excitement of Christmas whilst also being very entertaining. I would 100 percent recommend this game to everyone I know. I was not expected to survive. The doctor told me I had only a few months to live, if I had regular akenotherapy, only for prolonging my lifespan. I decided to go through with it. One day, while waiting for my therapy, out of boredom, I was searching the App Store for something to pass the time, and I stumbled upon this game. I downloaded it and started playing, and immediately I was captivated by the beautiful colors, the fun of rolling around on a huge Cranberry Sprite can, and the exciting danger of LeBron James chasing me. I was having so much fun, and before I knew it, I was on level 30. After my therapy, I was just playing Cronberry Rush all the time. The doctors were shocked to see a surprising recovery. I was feeling happier and better. Soon, the doctors said that I would pull through. Thank you for this game.
