Purchasing cards in-app doesn't give you the ownership you'd expect with NFT / blockchain-based games. If you want to mint a card to be an NFT, there are several conditions involved such as holding a certain amount of their chain token first and then it costs $1 in their token to mint assuming that the mint limit for the card hasn't been reached. Essentially, there's a ton of hoops / paywalls to go through if your card is eligible to become an NFT, and there's a possibility that it's not eligible at all and you've spent all this money for nothing. Devs, feel free to correct me on this, but finding information on this was scattered throughout the wiki and not very cohesive at all. ### 1/5 — Horrible overall experience… *2023-06-08, version 0.14.5086* Open game, wait for 2.6GB download to complete… check. Create an account with my email and a password because no guest login or other auth available… check. Go back into my email to validate my email address.. check.. Enter my email and password again… check. Enter a completely overwhelming tutorial that throws all the rules and the kitchen sink at you in a single match in a matter of a few turns.. check. Complete tutorial and try to play a match, but I can’t because I don’t have a valid deck… check. Figure out from icons with no description or explanation that I need to add 10 more cards to my deck while keeping within the power limit… so play a bit of whack a mole until I achieve this… check. No practice mode available against an AI so I cannot get a better feel for the rules and gameplay… check. So I look for an online match, after more than a minute, no matches found… uninstall. It baffles me that a game developer thinks this sort of FTUE is going to get people to want to play their game. What a joke. ### 3/5 — Great game, unpolished app *2023-04-29* This intellectual property and game is really good. However, the app constantly crashes, some of the sounds are way too loud and distorted on speakers and headphones, and some of the user interface doesn’t work properly, such as when you hover a card over a slot on the board. It doesn’t properly indicate whether it’s going to turn over the cards next to it. Hopefully, after a number of patches, all of these quality of life issues are fixed, and then this app can actually be launch ready. Feel like a closed beta app, not a public launch app. **Developer response:** Thank you for your comment. Our patches will indeed fixed a lot of issues over time.
