操作がやりにくいんですが、タテヨコの切り替えのコツってあるのかな？

ヒントが直感的に解きにくく、「？」と思うものが多々ある。
例えば、〈火花〉は「飛ばす」のではなく、「散らす」のではないかと。
短い語句で、正確かつ的確に表現するのは、精度の高さが必要になってくると思います。
