## What is CrossBinge?

CrossBinge finds your next favorite across every kind of screen and page. Most apps only know one medium: a movie app that ignores your books, a game tracker that forgets your shows. CrossBinge treats your taste as one thing that runs across films, TV, games, books, music and comics, and gives you picks that connect all of them.

Loved Dune? CrossBinge can point you to the novel that started it, a game with the same sense of scale, a film that shares its look, and a series to begin tonight. The recommendations are personal. The more you rate and save, the sharper they get.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Get personalized recommendations that span movies, TV, games, books, music and comics
- Search everything at once and jump straight to the right title, person or series
- See where to watch, play, read or listen, with links to streaming, stores and free public-domain reads
- Keep lists and a watchlist that stay in sync, and track what you have finished
- Follow the people and studios behind the work, plus whole franchises and series
- Read the editorial: a weekly entertainment magazine, deep topic guides and studio histories
- Build tier lists and showcases to rank and share what you love

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
CrossBinge runs on a real recommendation engine, not a popularity chart. It ranks what to show you by the titles you actually love, tuned for quality and variety so your feed never collapses into the same five blockbusters. Because taste, not the medium, is the unit, a book can lead you to a game and an album can lead you to a film. That cross-media jump is the whole point, and nothing else does it.

MADE FOR IPHONE
Native from the ground up: fast browsing, smooth transitions, home-screen presence, and notifications for releases that match your taste, replies on your showcases, and the weekly magazine drop. Add a title to a list with one tap, share anything with a friend, and pick up right where you left off.

PRIVATE AND FREE
CrossBinge is free with no ads and no third-party trackers. Sign in with Apple or an email, and export or delete your data whenever you want. Browse anonymously and your picks still get personal, right on your device.

Start with what you already love. CrossBinge takes it from there.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-03

Tap through the writing. Titles, people and topics mentioned in our articles and in the notes on each title are now links, so you can follow a recommendation straight to its page.

Links open in the app. Tapping a crossbinge.com link now takes you into CrossBinge instead of the browser.

Getting back from Search. Search now has a back button, and you can swipe in from the left edge, so an accidental tap no longer loses the page you were reading.

Plus smoother artwork on title pages.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-25

Rating is now a big, tap-friendly list, so you never hit the wrong star. And you can create and remix cross-media tier lists right inside the app.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-24

Long-press any cover to mark it as watched (or read, played, heard) and rate it on the spot with a quick star sheet. Plus cleaner home recommendations and small fixes.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-21

- Smoother search: results no longer flash while you type, and your recent searches appear when you open Search.
- New Recently viewed row in Search jumps you back to things you looked at.
- Onboarding covers now show title and year, with a long-press peek for details.
- Rating stars now carry their number so it is easier to pick, and you can slide across the stars to rate.
- Fixed a stray circle behind the rating stars on unrated titles.
- CrossBinge may ask for a quick App Store rating once you have saved or rated a few titles. It shows up at most once every few months, and one tap helps a small app a lot.

Tell us what you love and CrossBinge takes it from there. Feedback is welcome at crossbinge.com/contact.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-19

Discovery gets deeper in 1.2:

- Work pages now surface themed rows: hand-picked cross-media picks with a short note on why they fit, plus links to the full collection guides.
- Franchise pages show the key people behind the saga (authors, directors, stars), one tap from their full profiles.
- Searching from a hub now starts scoped to that medium, so results match where you came from.
- Refreshed medium colors: books in teal, comics in blue, music in amber.
- Follow your favorite creators and get notified when they release new work.
