Or for that matter that every single box has to be filled or X'd for the puzzle to complete. If you want a great nanogram app. Download Crossme. That app has everything the other apps have right and none of what they have wrong. **Developer response:** I really debated whether or not to require "punctuation". I had my best testers try it out and the feedback was to keep it in. I'm sorry that you don't like it, but most others seem to. Let me clear up some confusion: You don't have to X out every square to complete the puzzle, just the ones needed to punctuate blocks. However, even though you aren't required to, in most cases you _want_ to X out squares because it helps you solve intersecting rows/columns. Here is a slick trick: Once you've punctuated every block row/column, double tap on the clues for that row/column and it will X out all the remaining squares. (See section III of the help pages, under "Punctuation".) ### 5/5 — More puzzles please *2013-11-23* One of the best apps I have seen for this kind of puzzle. COME ON DEVELOPERS MORE LEVELS THEN 5* FROM ME. ### 3/5 — Some nice features but flawed *2016-08-05* Griddlers, or nonograms, are always solvable by logic alone, and that is my main criticism of this app - some puzzles just aren't. I like how the grid guides shade themselves as you solve. The puzzle controls are a little lacking, but there is one fun feature I haven't seen elsewhere: the instant replay after a puzzle is complete. It's surprisingly satisfying to watch your work recreate in time lapse. I wish there were more free puzzles available, because I only had one evening's worth of amusement here. If there were some updates, maybe just a free daily puzzle, this would easily be my favorite griddler app. As is, I guess I'm done playing it. ### 3/5 — The update isn't working *2015-08-30, version 1.1* Ever since I updated this app it has been acting weird. I can't purchase book 3, it always says error. I deleted the app to redownload it & now I can't restore my purchases. Please fix. More color choices would also be nice since I like to change the colors on the filled in squares after I finish solving a puzzle to make a pretty picture. The price of unlocking a book is reasonable. **Developer response:** If you "long press" on a square (meaning you press and hold for a while) you'll see a flash and then you can drag around and fill in multiple cells. This, and other handy techniques, is covered in Section II of the help pages. ### 4/5 — Hints? *2015-09-27* I love this game. But it would be nice if you made hints available, especially for those of use who purchased the packs. The only additional feature I wish for is the ability to change the color of the 5-mark gridlines instead of simply making them bolder.
