## What is Crossgrid Words?

Tap any letter on the grid, thread a new word through it, and keep every crossing valid. Every placement changes what is possible next — and a clean-looking board can suddenly become a puzzle about timing, space, and smart letter use.
More active than a static crossword. More replayable than a one-and-done puzzle. More structured than a pure sandbox.
Crossgrid Words is designed to be easy to understand right away, but much more interesting once you settle into it. You are not following a fixed path. You are creating the board as you go, balancing score goals, move pressure, board limits, timers, and letter rules that change from level to level.
Crossgrid Words includes several ways to play:
Daily
Play one shared daily board each day. Everyone gets the same challenge, and the daily rotation is separate from the rest of the game. The app ships with two years of daily boards in its own dedicated pool.
Simple Library
Browse a large library of pre-generated levels grouped by type. Each group has its own board-style checklist, so you can clear levels one by one and see your progress directly on the grid. The current library includes 1,000 fixed levels across Score Rush, Tight Board, Precision, Weave Hunt, and Mixed Signal.
Campaign
Play through a curated set of hand-picked levels that introduces the game a little more deliberately.
Endless
If you want the core word-building loop without pressure, Endless lets you keep playing without a fail state.
Seed Run
Enter any seed to spin up a fresh board and see what kind of run it gives you.
The library is meant to feel collectible, not disposable. Each level type has its own board-style checklist, and completed levels are marked directly on the cells. That makes the game easy to browse in short bursts, but it also gives completion-minded players a much longer runway.
Crossgrid Words is made for short sessions, but it still has range. A daily board can take a few minutes. A library clear can turn into a longer project. Endless can become a sandbox.
