The app hits all three point. I enjoyed the watch live feature. In 2019 I was in a bad automobile accident and was stuck in a wheelchair and had no way to get to the sermons. I would love to have some features that another app I use has, like devotionals, or bible challenges. Only bc I would love to have it all in my crossroads app. Or I could really learn how to utilize the app more? Hmm Otherwise, I love that there is daily habits, articles, you can watch the messages, listen to music/podcasts. The idea of scripture journaling daily, praying, gratitude. It’s an awesome setup. However, my grandparents downloaded the app mid January and were completely lost on the whole thing. I had to explain everything to them including why the scripture was starting on daniel 7 instead of one. The app should have an option to go back to later dates and read/participate so you aren’t lost in the sauce as one might say. I hope you take this into consideration. I am on my phone a lot, and I have found myself remembering more often to read the Bible when I see the widget for the daily verse on my home screen. My relationship with God has been strengthened by this app. I love the section where I can pray for other people and send prayer requests. It is always a neat feeling to pray for a stranger (or friend). The daily gratitude really helps me to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. Crossroads is in Ohio. I’ve visited Ohio to go to church a couple times and immediately felt that Crossroads is my church. The app helps me stay connected to the community despite being thousands of miles away. This app is great! Practical tools to engage with your faith while learning and growing in your family, community, and business. It’s like a directed Facebook minus the negativity. A community that supports each other and wants to see each other become the best version of themselves. 10/10 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-01-21, version 8.1.0* An update was done to this app several weeks ago. It screwed up my app on my iPad and I can no longer use it. I emailed the help desk and they made several suggestions which did not work. I was put into a que to get higher level help which never occurred. Seems like this church constantly does not support its senior members. I need to go elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Demands Far Too Much Information *2020-07-13, version 5.6.0* I'm sure this is a really good app, and I really wanted to give it a good look and probably start using it regularly; unfortunately, the first thing it does is demand a ton of personal information -- email, first name, last name, password, security code.... I lied about all of those, but I don't know what else it insisted on because that's where I gave up and deleted the app. Obtaining all that personal information appeared to be to enable a chat community. Here a suggestion, Crossroads: gather that information, if you think you truly need to, only if someone chooses opting-in the community aspects of the app. ### 1/5 — Needs horizontal support *2020-06-17* Love the app and the ideas and community engagement it brings. Need support for landscape use to truly be beneficial on an iPad. I would love to be able to journal in this app, but can only type in landscape mode on iPad and therefore use another app to journal in. As with any journaling app, people aren’t encouraged to keep journaling when the only option is to type with your thumbs. I would also love a bit more organization to find things. There is no segmentation to distinguish messages, podcasts, live services, snippets, music, guides, etc. The guides is a big one for me. I would like to direct my groups to specific guides that we go through but it is a very cumbersome process. A simple drop down menu would suffice. It needs to permit use of a keyboard. You want to enter prayer requests or journey entries but you are forced to type with your thumbs. Then, I started getting messages to click on to update the app & restart everytime I used it. Checked in the app store and it showed no update needed. Questioned this to their care team with no reply why & blocked from sending anymore questions. However as a family that watches every Sunday online, the app for the Apple TV is not great. Many weekends the app is not showing the current week service or the app has no content available. It has been very erratic recently. This Anywhere app is chocked-full of resources. There’s the daily spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, & gratitude. Beyond that there’s great music, opportunities, Sunday messages, ways to connect with others, and much more!
