Please make the open squares a different color. They are such a dark blue they’re almost black, and I can’t tell where the word ends. (Doing this on an iPhone if that makes a difference.) Just that one change would make it 5-star for me. I also can’t get used to the clues being on top instead of below the puzzle, but I think that’s just me. However, lately some ads cannot be made to go away. They do not respond to touching the X in the upper corner or to anything else. So I just go away and maybe come back later to see if it’s gone. The button to switch from vertical to horizontal doesn’t work either.
