The important fro Dropbox function has had problems for a year and their “fix” was to remove the feature. The basic import function only imports one file at a time and does not import files in .jpz format. The Browse the Web function takes you a screen for buying Newsday puzzles and you cannot bypass it. ### 3/5 — Bug in Print option *2023-01-12* Print option saves a blank page ### 3/5 — Ok.....if you’re from the USA. *2020-07-30, version 2.80.03* App works quite well (although does not indicate multi word answers) and is quite good at highlighting across and down clues as you move around. Content is the problem. The ones I’ve done so far are heavily, heavily USA centric and banallly so at that. Think quiz show hosts of the past, US breakfast cereals, restaurant chains. You’ll also need a thorough knowledge of US sports terminology and personalities. Clues sometimes also assume a USA basis (e.g. referring to congress rather than the US Congress). The narrow world view on display is somewhat nauseating at times as is the use of bastardised and US slang English. ### 4/5 — Great app *2018-10-28, version 2.79.5* I love the Crossword Light app, and I use it every day. ### 4/5 — Good Interface *2017-04-28, version 2.79.5* I really enjoy this app for its interface on the crossword level. The controls are really intuitive. The subscribe issue is a little annoying, but hopefully it will be fixed soon. The app will no longer load any new puzzles. Customer service, of course, blamed it on Apple. They told me to delete the app and reload. Now, I have no puzzles at all. It looks like the only way to download new puzzles is to subscribe. If that is the new business model, then just say so up front, do not lie to us. I was a subscriber for YEARS, but no longer. Stuff like pop stars and restaurants make up a lot of this game. I recently upgraded to an iPad Pro so thought I’d give it another try. Didn’t work on initial startup so I deleted it and downloaded it again. Still doesn’t work. Wish I had tried Crossword light sooner. Most of the crossword apps will not work in Landscape mode let alone with a keyboard. I am not sure why this is as I just assumed all of them would be compatible.
