It always helps out in a pinch when I need some extra cash. However, I find myself now in between jobs. I was able to pay all of my bills the month of December due to Croux. I have met some great people and have had very few negative experiences with other Croux members and businesses. I have built friendships with people I probably never would have met and worked at some places I didn’t know existed. Pay is subpar, unlike Instawork or Gigpro 95% of jobs are untipped. You will receive tips but they go directly to management and the business. If you value your labor and your service I would not recommend this app, it is the death of restaurant culture ### 1/5 — Absolute TRASH account setup. *2025-11-29, version 2.5.6* Absolute TRASH account setup. Kept getting continuously rejected because of “Stripe”. No matter how many times I tried redoing it. And not to mention you can’t even checkout the app and what it offers until you’ve given them LITERALLY everything about yourself (full name/address/SSN/bank info), minus a blood sample. Or maybe that was next, idk, couldn’t make it past the Stripe thing. All unnecessarily frustrating. Super shady app wouldnt even let me remove my personal information because they suspended my account because of the system glitching and not sending me notifications when accepted for a shift. **Developer response:** We have clear policies regarding bad behavior, and anyone violating those policies is not welcome on the Croux platform.
