The navigation is not immediately obvious, which is bad because this is not an app that people use all the time. There are maps of the conference space but the sessions are not linked to them. Sometimes the messages won't open and then the next day they will. Shared links sent by text message by a co-worker were torture to open. The app was helpful but could be a lot better. ### 3/5 — So much low hanging fruit *2017-10-17, version 1.137* This app works. But one has to wonder if they've actually used it at a meeting themselves. Some font sizes are too small. You have to login over and over throughout the day. Navigation is odd and usability is average in many spots. Visuals are dated and don't present the various events attractively. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t let you post articles like other apps *2019-03-17, version 1.174* This app does not let you post articles like other apps that display publication titles and pictures when referencing magazine articles, etc. It’s a terrible user interface and limited functionality and frustrating. Fix your app, get your app act together. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2018-07-25, version 1.158* I’ve used a number of conference schedule apps and this is by far the worst. Can’t save a schedule offline (our meeting has no WiFi in the rooms) or without creating an account with them, which just - no. The rest I can’t say for sure that it’s the fault of the app as opposed to the conference organizers, but it’s completely useless beyond that. No ability to view what talks are going on concurrently, not even any titles. ### 1/5 — This app can cost you - make a written copy of your schedule *2018-04-11, version 1.149* This app has deleted my agenda (including manually entered commitments to my customers to meet with them). I have had to uninstall / reinstall multiple times due to unfounded optimism that it was a transient glitch. I supposed the only good thing about this is that everyone at the conference seemed to have the same problem so they were somewhat understanding of my delayed arrival. Use of this app in its current state is risky at best. Do not rely on it. ### 1/5 — Impossible to register *2018-04-08, version 1.148* I cannot be the only person whose company blocks all unknown external emails. Which means I can’t register because the conference registration is linked to my work email address only, not to a cellphone number or secondary email address. Apparently no one thought to create an alternate verification method (or at the very least ask whether we received the registration email and, if not, whether it should resend it). ### 1/5 — Needed to be reinstalled in the middle of an event *2018-01-23, version 1.145* In the middle of an event, and it can no longer even find my event. I found out that if you uninstall, reinstall and then reregister, it starts working again... pretty poor behaviour for an event manager! There will be lots of lost feedback because people attending classes don’t know this! They just assume it isn’t working any more which makes the association look bad!!! ### 2/5 — Notifications don’t work *2019-10-23, version 1.186* App has quite a bit of functionality, but despite enabling notifications on my iPhone settings and digging through the app to turn on notifications-I’m not receiving message notifications. Pretty important for conferences which is what I’m using the app for otherwise we’ll need to communicate outside of the app. ### 2/5 — Does not support iPad multitasking *2019-03-07, version 1.174* The attendee application doesn’t support iPad multitasking, which is painfully ironic because I wanted to take notes while having this application on screen at the same time. Unfortunately this app cannot support split view (1/3, 1/2 or 2/3) with another app at the same time. (Although one can have another app appear atop on the right side 1/3 width, yet this covers some content of the attendee’s app.) ### 3/5 — Setup almost not compatible *2022-01-24, version 1.261* Unable to click next while setting up my account due to iPhone feature “home button bar” Most new iPhones have this. Easy fix just move “next” higher and not in corner. ### 3/5 — Can’t find event *2020-02-08, version 1.198* I downloaded the app on my phone and it worked just fine. I’m trying to download it on my husbands phone and it says it cannot find event. We’re doing everything the same. Why won’t it work on his phone? ### 3/5 — My Schedule not Syncing *2019-03-28, version 1.175* In the past the Tyler connect app would take custom events added by the user on the website and would sync between the apps. I liked the modern interface and that it updated through the program. ### 5/5 — Very Accessible with Voiceover for the Blind User *2019-03-07, version 1.174* I am an entrepreneur and author. I am attending an event that this app supports, and I am very impressed with how accessible it is with the Voiceover screen reader for the blind user. So far, so good. We’ll see how well it works when I attend this event. But props to the developer for having buttons labeled properly and an easy-to-use interface. Other devs in this type of market should look to this one for guidance on accessibility. ### 5/5 — For the ability to export notes from each session - 5 stars *2018-08-03, version 1.158* In general this app was a pleasure to use. Loved the room finishing feature, ability to pop between main schedule and my schedule, etc BUT - the ability to cleanly export notes from all 12 sessions is fantastic!! All the session headings were in top, divided into 12 segments, amazing!!! Great app! Super happy with having such clean, easily organized notes! ### 5/5 — Best event app *2018-01-03, version 1.142* This app is awesome. I’ve used this as an attendee and as a planner of an event and it’s very intuitive and super helpful for communicating key event information and changes. It created tons of engagement opportunities and took the events to the next level. Support is unrivaled and the app always performs. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Awesome App, keeps everything organized! *2017-11-03, version 1.138* I used this at a recent conference and it is so much better than carrying the books and materials around. All the info I need was in the app so I could find my sessions and see updates of they moved last minute. Also a great tool for networking. It’s as simple as it should be. I’ve only used as an attendee (not as an event organizer). One suggestion: add a feature to allow meeting attendees to propose questions for forum based meetings. Also allow people to “vote up” other peoples’ proposed questions so that meeting moderator can ask the questions with the most “up votes”. ### 4/5 — Love it *2017-11-24, version 1.139* I love this app!
