## What is CrowdScribe?

CrowdScribe turns conference panels, retreats, and breakout sessions into clean, attributed transcripts. Hosts schedule events from the CrowdScribe web dashboard; participants use this app to consent to recording and enroll a short voiceprint so their speech is attributed to them by name in the final transcript. Designated recorder phones capture session audio and upload it in chunks for near-real-time transcription.

Privacy is the product. All biometric data is destroyed within 60 minutes of event end. Audio recordings are deleted within 7 days. Only the text transcript is retained, for 90 days. Per-event isolation means voiceprints from one event are never queryable from another. Two-surface consent is captured — once on the web invite page, once in-app — and stored with a cryptographic hash of the exact disclosure text.
