This is not an issue when I individually select a cell. I have the current version of the app. Also, the menu sidebars do not stay open. I have tested with the iPad being both vertical and horizontal. My only complaint is that each “pack” has levels of every difficulty, and I’d like to be able to select the difficulty I want to play on and just stay there. I know I can just skip the levels and play only extreme if I want but it would be nice to just pick extreme and only get extreme levels. Love this app and the amount of levels and all the features. Found a couple things to possibly tweak or fix: 1.) the Spooktober event levels are very hard to play if you’re using the “classic” theme palette. The colors become transparent and hard to play. Using the “default” theme palette seems to help. 2.) The swiping feature to place X’s doesn’t really work in the Daily Games Archive. It works fine on the current daily game, but if you play the archives, swiping up and down will scroll the screen instead of placing X’s. 3.) Daily levels on the east coast USA are released at 1am instead of midnight. Not sure if it might be an issue with daylight savings time. I’ll check in November when we switch the clocks. ### 4/5 — Love the game, love the app *2025-10-10, version 1.63* Got really into this game from LinkedIn, and wanted to play more levels. Love this app and the amount of levels and all the features. My ONLY criticism at the moment is the background on the Spooktober event levels, it makes the game almost unplayable unless I turn the brightness on my phone all the way up. Is this a bug or a feature to make it a little harder? I really dislike it. Very hard to see the colors and their boundaries. I think a softer background or making it more opaque would really help. One more thing I noticed, swiping is a little messed up in the Daily Games Archive. It works fine on the current daily game, but if you play the archives, swiping up and down will scroll the screen. I can no longer run my finger along rows to mark all squares with a dot for “No”. Now I have to tap each square individually. Hopefully that feature can be reinstalled. EDIT: I followed the developers recommendation and tried the Gauntlet mode… punishing for misclicks when the boxes are tiny is not the type of challenge anyone is looking for.
