Crucis Lux is a cinematic Catholic storytelling app. The lives of the saints, the great Marian apparitions, the Passion of Christ — told in five languages, with synchronized narration and illustrations in the style of medieval Italian frescoes. Each series is a guided journey through a sacred life or event. You hear it, you read it, and you see it. The narration is reverent, the art is contemplative, and the pacing is meant for slow listening — on the train, at the end of the day, before sleep. WHAT'S INSIDE • Lives of the saints — John Paul II, Mother Teresa, Francis of Assisi, Augustine of Hippo, Padre Pio, Carlo Acutis, Teresa of Ávila, Peter, Paul. • Marian apparitions — Our Lady of Fátima, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Guadalupe. • The Passion of Christ — the final week, from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection, with scripture citations on the central panels. FIVE LANGUAGES Narration in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and German, with synchronized captions for following along. Switch languages anytime in your profile. DESIGN • Background playback — your story keeps going while you're on the lock screen. • Dark interface optimized for evening reading. • Saved progress, marked-watched, and a "today" tab with the saint of the day. • No ads, no tracking, no doomscroll loops. SUBSCRIPTION A 7-day free trial unlocks the full library. After the trial, the subscription renews monthly or annually — cancel any time in your App Store settings. ABOUT THE ART The illustrations are produced with the assistance of AI image-generation tools, in a style inspired by Giotto, the Sienese masters, and the comic-page tradition (Tardi, Hugo Pratt, Sergio Toppi). The narration is produced with synthetic voice technology. Every panel is curated and reviewed by a human editor. ABOUT THE CONTENT The narration is drawn from established Catholic devotional sources: lives of the saints, the Roman Catholic Calendar, the Gospels, and recognized accounts of Marian apparitions.
