Trying on iPhone and iPad. No luck. ### 1/5 — No sound *2020-08-07, version 2.0.1* I rated this poorly because there is no sound for any of the videos. I’m on an iPhone 8 and all of my other apps are working as normal. ### 1/5 — Incomplete *2020-08-04, version 2.0.1* This would be great if the information was complete. However it is missing a large number of dump sites listed on RV sites. I drove past two dump sites at rest areas which weren’t on this map before finding a better source of information. In all, I drove right past at least four free dump sites not listed while the app showed only dump for fee sites at campgrounds which were out of the way. Not worth the time to install. ### 1/5 — App does not work *2020-07-12, version 2.0.1* This app is very slow and unhelpful. The maps are a great idea but they take forever to load any useful information, even on WiFi. I could never get any of the videos to play. Great idea for an app. I just wish it worked as advertised. ### 1/5 — Not useful *2018-08-10, version 1.6* No info on LP gas. The dump stations found using this app were not available for public use. The only campgrounds listed were KOAs - not state or national parks. ### 2/5 — Not very useful *2017-10-28, version 1.5* The number of places to stay in this app is very, very limited. Maybe only showing ‘partners’ ? Our biggest problem was getting gas for cooking and heating, but the app does not have a list of those at all. It only shows some fuel stations (also very limited). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t rely on app *2024-08-29, version 2.1.2* While the app offers the same tutorials you can find online and from the sales rep you would hope that after 52 years in business the company would take this opportunity more seriously and use the app to differentiate themselves better. This app is poorly designed and not forward thinking at all considering how many options exist. Sad ### 1/5 — war mal eine großartige App *2024-02-09* 2017 sind wir mit dieser App durch Amerika gefahren und haben jeden Campingplatz und jede Tankstelle gefunden. So don’t bother. But I would also suggest you find another RV company. Especially for any long trips. I have never had such an uncomfortable and noisy ride. Every crack in the road rocked the RV. Do not believe the pictures on their website. The RV we had was disgusting inside. If you rented a car from any rental company, you’d expect a clean and well maintained car. Well I guess Cruise America believes throwing on some duct tape here and there and using staples to hold plastic together is good enough. Walking would have been more comfortable ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2023-10-15, version 2.1.1* Videos don’t work. This app does not help you with anything. It will refer you to other apps at best. Why even make this app if you could just have all the info on a website with resources. The only thing that is worth while on the app are the troubleshooting videos, but again, that could be on a web page. Don’t use, even if the company tells you to. ### 1/5 — Videos never worked *2021-07-07, version 2.1.1* Downloaded the app on wifi prior to our trip. Enabled local download for all videos, but they never worked. Wouldn’t play when we returned to wifi either. To this day have never gotten a single video to work on the app. ### 1/5 — Cruise America app *2021-03-06, version 2.0.1* Our first time renting an RV. Was looking forward for this app to help us with this new RV experience. Very disappointed. None of the videos downloaded on my IPhone. 🙁 ### 1/5 — Useless. *2020-10-28, version 2.0.1* None of the features work as they should. The only thing the app does is direct you to a website to rent from them. Everything else is dysfunctional. ### 1/5 — What is the app for? *2020-08-29, version 2.0.1* The app has a few videos and manuals. It is difficult to maneuver and very slow. For any resources you have to use a general search engine or use a type of business directory. Had the app fir a week during our trip and was not helpful even once. DO NIT RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING the app unless you want to have the users manual and videos. This app has been greatly improved recently and I would disregard all the year + old reviews. With the app we were able to locate campgrounds, access to RV details and the rest. This truly is the perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors. The only true rv friendly app with every rv campground you can imagine. We left on our trip only knowing our destination. We found some great state parks to camp (one on a lake), dump stations, gas and water along the way no problem. But not a really great app. I tried to use the map to find campgrounds and dump sites. It really didn’t work. I’m not really sure what the map really does compared to the map app my phone already has? It’s super unclear. And why does it have links to the renters guide in all the languages after I have already downloaded a copy in my language? I already told you my language, just show it to me. Or better yet, see my device language and never ask me the question in the first place. And maybe not embed the pdf in the app. Unpack it and make it easy to browse. In general the app doesn’t feel very polished. It could be way better. My guess is this is a react native or electron app. Or worse, designed by a product manager that doesn’t know anything about software. Meh. ### 4/5 — Newest Update Crashed *2020-04-21, version 2.0.1* Really enjoyed the wealth of knowledge this app offered. However it looks like their last update crashed the videos. I am uninstalling and trying again, hoping that fixes the problem. ### 2/5 — Can’t use Campground or Dump search feature *2020-08-10, version 2.0.1* App has some how to videos which are available on the website, but other than that the app doesn’t really work. ### 2/5 — Promising but needs work *2020-07-24, version 2.0.1* This app just didn’t work for me. The videos didn’t download. The campground locator showed nothing. The booking engine took me to a blank page.
