Works perfectly.

### 5/5 — Not bad, needs improvement

*2024-04-09*

It works against the disturbing cookie nag consent on most sites yet it renders some useless as to their search fields are disabled. Nonetheless it looks promising and the more sites cookie nag it blocks, the more I'll use it.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2023-05-01*

Only App ( of many, of its type ), to remove
"cookie" consent-dialogues off recalcitrant
web-sites, which many similar Apps, fail to,
even after ( other ) Apps notified – via their
web-facility link in ( other ) App e.g. "Hush"

Hush App very effective except recalcitrant
web-sites – where Crumblr App, succeeds.

Feedback link, in both Crumblr + Bolt Apps,
( from same developer ) would be welcome,
to avoid bug-reports via App Review vector.

### 5/5 — Complémentaire

*2023-03-28*

Merci !

### 1/5 — STEALS DATA

*2025-10-28*

After installing it, YouTube history showed videos that I didn't watch

**Developer response:** Hello GNEG228,

Thank you for downloading Crumblr and for taking the time to leave feedback.

I understand your concern, but I want to reassure you that Crumblr has absolutely no ability to access personal data, including your YouTube account or your watch history.
The app simply hides cookie consent banners and other page elements inside Safari only. It cannot interact with the YouTube app, your Google account, or any browsing history.

You can also verify this in the system settings: Crumblr does not get permission to read personal data of any kind.

If your YouTube history showed unknown videos, the cause is unfortunately unrelated to Crumblr (for example: another device logged into your account, a family member watching, VPN, shared account, etc.).

I hope this clarifies the situation, and I’d be grateful if you could reconsider your rating, since the issue isn’t caused by the app.

Have a nice day.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2025-10-01*

Enabled all the extensions as directed. It blocks cookie popups on a few sites, but I still get cookie consent notices on google, youtube and more. This app is basically useless.

**Developer response:** Hello hhhhh86444,

Thanks for downloading Crumblr. I’m sorry to hear you’re still seeing some cookie consent notices.

You can try launching the app again to refresh and retrieve the latest filter list update. This may help on some websites.

While Crumblr successfully hides most cookie banners, some websites still require users to manually accept or decline cookies before continuing (and the worse even block access unless you accept them). In those cases, as Crumblr doesn't act on your behalf, the banner might still appear.

I hope you can still find the app useful for many of the other sites you visit.

Best regards,

### 1/5 — Appli Placebo

*2025-03-28*

### 1/5 — 𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙇𝙇 𝘿𝙊𝙀𝙎𝙉'𝙏 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆!

*2024-06-13*

I’ve got everything correct with the settings, but it’s never worked! I’m getting cookie banners and all sorts of nuisance pop ups- so many of these apps for Safari rarely do what they claim they’re supposed to do. Disappointed, 𝘼 𝙒𝘼𝙎𝙏𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀, and uninstalling 𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍!

**Developer response:** Hello R Josef E Stuibhart,

I am sorry to hear that Crumblr doesn't seem to be working on your device.

There is no reason it shouldn't work. However, just in case, I have manually published an update to the filters. Could you please try the following:
1. Update the filters from the application
2. Ensure that it is activated in the Settings application and not just in Safari

Once activated, the filters may take a couple minutes to become operational on older devices but they should work correctly afterward.

If the issue is resolved, please feel free to update your rating. Otherwise, don't hesitate to contact me at crumblr@c9n.fr so I can assist you further!

Regards

PS. If you're looking to block ads you might want to look at my other app: AdBlock Bolt

### 1/5 — Not working on iOS 17 iPad

*2024-01-14*

This does not work, first site I opened had cookie pop up request.
but it’s not alone most of them do not work

**Developer response:** Hello Vivian,

Thanks for reaching out!

Please note that Crumblr is an addition to my other app Bolt.
The first focuses on annoyances such as cookie popup while the later focuses on ads/trackers.

While we can block/hide most ads on websites some of them prevents to use anti-adblock and then the filters try to block those anti-adblock. It's a bit of a cat-and-mouse game here.

However for cookies it's a bit different... that's why I decided to separate Crumblr from Bolt.
Here a the things that might have happened after your installation:

1) Filters need to be activated either from the Settings app or from the Safari app directly (as described in the Crumblr application).
If you did so: activating several filters rules at the same time is usually instantaneous, but it may require a couple of minutes for them to be fully loaded depending on the device you're using ("older" devices require more time then "new" devices) ;

2) The website is unknown to any list/filter. If it is not indiscreet, you can send me the website url so that I can take a look.

3) The website is one which cannot work without any cookies, or at least without some of them, depending on how it was designed/build.
Thus on some website filters might block only part of it or, sadly, none in some case. If it happens you'll be facing the popup and need to manually interact with it to accept the minimum required.

Since I'm not sure which case you're facing, I've anticipated the next lists/filters update on my side.

You can try to launch Crumblr again and get the update in the app directly, it will set the list again.

Then you can try again and let me know if needed.

Thanks again for reaching out, have a nice day!

### 2/5 — I don’t get it

*2026-08-05*

How does it work?

### 2/5 — Ne marche pas tout le temps.

*2026-04-02*

### 4/5 — pretty nice

*2026-03-30*

Good, simple to use app. Very effective, I’ve not seen a cookie pop-up since I installed Crumblr.

Only thing I’m missing is a toolbar icon/button, to disable Crumblr. Some websites don’t work well with removing the cookie pop-up and disable scrolling as a result. My current work-around is disabling “enable content blockers” in the website settings (gear icon), but this also disables my ad-blocker.

If such a button were added it would be great. And a per-site option to disable Crumblr (also from the toolbar) would make it actually perfect.

### 4/5 — Leider funktioniert ausgerechnet die Haupefunktion nicht. Cookie Banner überall.

*2025-06-01*

Thanks for downloading Crumblr and for taking the time to leave a comment.

I'm sorry to hear the app isn’t blocking all cookie banners. Unfortunately, cookie pop-ups vary greatly from one website to another. While I try to cover as many as possible, some sites don’t work properly unless users manually reject cookies (and a few even force users to accept them).
I regularly update the filter lists, so coverage improves over time.

Also, if you're looking to block more types of content, like ads and trackers, you can try my other app AdBlock Bolt, which is free to use as well.

Best regards,

I’m not tech savvy, but can follow instructions.
The toolbar of safari, at least on you tube page, shows nothing at all but the disabled neeva I used to use.
On safari settings , i turned on every single feature, yet it still won t show in manage extensions safari bottom tab.

Safari is an exhausting, tiring bore (isn’t it?)

Crumblr is a Safari extension that works great to prevent websites from displaying those annoying cookie nag screens. The developer does not collect any personal info, which is appreciated.
