## What is crumbs social?

welcome to crumbs. 

more than just a social media platform – a community.

mainstream social media is tiring. it's all corporate algorithms, influencers trying too hard, and all the pressure to look perfect.

we spent 6 years in private beta building crumbs, with a small community of users who just wanted a normal place to hangout. just some casual posts, banter, and real connections. it's a digital living room for you and your friends to chill out.

the basics:
* post whatever. share text, photos, or random thoughts (as long as it's appropriate;))
* comment and banter with people who get your humour.
* chat and connect, for when things need a little bit more privacy, with real end-to-end encryption.
* like and catch up: see what people are actually up to, chronologically, without an algorithm choosing for you.
