### 5/5 — amazin

*2026-09-25*

I love this scanner app because it includes other categories (rather than just toxins) like animal cruelty, and I can choose exactly how much each should factor into the overall score :) I also like the diy recipes section & the ability to make lists

**Developer response:** Thank you! Letting you decide how much each category counts, animal welfare included, is the heart of Crunchy, so it means a lot that it landed for you. Glad the DIY recipes and lists are earning their place too. Happy scanning :)

### 5/5 — I love how you can choose what the app takes into calculation

*2026-09-17*

In all the other food scanning apps I’ve tried, they always care so much about carbs and total calories and saturated fat, but *I* don’t care ‘cause I’m a 16 year old boy. I do, however, care about chemicals and additives, cause those will harm me regardless of if I’m bulking or not. All this to say that I really appreciate the fact that I can choose what I, and the app, care about.

I also definitely appreciate the broad range of products it will and can scan, unlike similar apps that so often say they don’t know.

**Developer response:** Love that you appreciate our special feature! Thanks so much for the review ☺️

### 5/5 — Innovative

*2026-09-15*

I have sensitive skin and I plan to use this app faithfully to check for any harmful chemicals or toxins! The app made it super easy to create an account and was aesthetically pleasing. I’m excited to begin incorporating this into my wellness routine.

**Developer response:** Thank you! We're so glad you like it & that's now a part of your routine :)

### 5/5 — So good it’s scary

*2026-09-11*

Careful!! This app is addictive! Can’t stop scanning 😅.
Finally an app that scores according to my own preferences and values.
Also, we just moved to the states and it’s scary what’s in our products - legally!!

**Developer response:** We take "can't stop scanning" as the highest compliment :) Scoring products against your own values rather than someone else's list is exactly what we set out to build. Welcome to the States, and we hope Crunchy makes the aisles feel a little less scary.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!

*2026-09-11*

This app is so beautiful and functional. I used Yuka in the past but this is way better because I can set it to check the things I actually care about. Amazing functionality and it is so aesthetically pleasing!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Checking for the things YOU care about is exactly why we made the app, so glad to hear it's what you needed as well.
