The game seemed promising, and it was fun, for a bit. Until it kept crashing.. The game crashes after you play for a few minutes, I’m so sad about it!!

### 3/5 — Would consider it playable if it didn’t keep logging me out

It’s probably a decent game, I do love a good GB Studio showcase, but it keeps logging me out in the middle of playing. It’s annoying enough I have to log in every time I open the game up but about every 15 minutes I get stopped dead middle of doing something and taken back to the log in page, losing any progress after my last save. It’s fun for what I’ve been able to play so far but I don’t like half the effort of the game being getting it open in the first place

The gameplay and stuff is great but has some minor issues. There’s a noticeable audio delay when switching between zones. Also when I turned off my phone and came back later, the audio stoped working entirely. My phone is a IPhone 11 64-gigabyte model, if that helps any

As title says, I just want to buy this game. The fact you have it only tied to your Crunchyroll subscription is frustrating to say the least. 

Whenever I get your service again, I’ll update review with gameplay but still, how doesn’t this hurt the game?

Fun so far but controlling the movement of the character is the single worst thing about the game. With a bit better control this is 5 stars.

You are prompted to log in/create an account only to be prompted to subscribe.
Game requires premium crunchyroll account ($9.99 / month) . There’s no getting past the log in screen without paying, so this is false advertising $9.99 does NOT = “free” 

I have zero issue with with premium games or even games with optional IAP.  What I have issue with is sketchy tactics, paywalls, misinformation, pay2win, overpriced mediocrity and just deceptive practices.

I can’t play the game due to I refuse to pay them $9.99 a month to access their library of well over so many games yadda yadda. Whatever. This game needs removed. It’s advertised as a game you can play. In which you can. If you pay them a monthly subscription fee you can play it all you want I’m sure. Yeah, not me though. Nice try Crunchy Roll. I’ll keep the company name in mind as to avoid any other bad games.

You can really tell this game was a passion project.  It reminds me of playing gameboy games back in the day!  You apparently need a Crunchyroll subscription to play but I already had that.  It’s not worth just getting the subscription for in my opinion but it’s a nice add on!  It brought back memories of playing Zelda and pokemon games so I’d recommend this if you loved the classics!

I get to play a game boy color styled game of Hime going on an adventure? I love it! I’ve subscribed to Cruchroll for many years now and very much enjoy the content provided. I don’t know why someone would want to play an anime themed game about Cruchyroll’s mascot if their not even a fan that subscribes. Technological issues I would understand but all these one star reviews are complaining about a subscription to Crunchyroll they would have to pay for monthly. It’s a fun loving little game and I’m all here for it. I’m grateful to the work and thought put into these games and I hope to see more in the soon future. Love you Crunchyroll! Keep up the hard work fam <3

J’ai pas l’habitude de mettre des avis mais là le jeu le mérite vraiment.
Si vous aimez les Zelda 2D ce jeu est fait pour vous, 3 à 4h max d’aventure qui nous fait plonger dans l’univers de la gameboy. La musique est fantastique, les décors sont variés et les quêtes sont super sympas.
Je m’attendais à strictement rien vu que j’ai pu y jouer grâce à mon abonnement, mais ce jeu en vaut le détour.
Y’a pas de mots pour décrire le poulet que c’est, jouez-y !

This is basically just a Game Boy Color game, though I mean that in the best way possible. It’s like a cute homage to games like Link’s Awakening, right down to the controls and the lovely chiptune soundtrack. I’m only just a tiny bit into the game, but I’m already lost in the charm of it all. The fact that you gotta hold your phone like a Game Boy to play it is the icing on the cake. If you’re already a Crunchyroll subscriber, you literally have nothing to lose by giving this a try. If you’re an old fart like me, you’ll find things to enjoy in it.

I dunno if it’s been mentioned anywhere, but this game has flawless controller support! Thing is, with the game currently set to the vertical portrait mode, I can’t put it into my mobile phone controller clip. If the devs are reading this, maybe consider making a landscape mode for the game for easier access for those who prefer controllers (I’m old and can’t stand digital buttons, lol). Call it “GBA Mode” or something. Either way, great game. I’d love to see more like this.

Nice retro game, but why are so many hater illiterate? You have to scroll PAST the description to get to the reviews FOR A REASON. But the game was enjoyable, although the controls were a bit jarring.
