I tried to open it again, made it to the menu, saw that my local save was gone, then re-started the app. Then I kept getting a black screen and couldn’t progress to the menu, which a lot of other reviews also seem to mention. I re-installed the app, which got it to run, except my cloud sync save had also been destroyed. Don’t quit the game while it is saving or loading; try to go to the title screen before closing if possible. Been playing this game a ton, there are a decent number of problems though. Sometimes the game will lose track of Marcos determination count or if you load a save it will give you extra actions. If you close the game while the loading screen is showing the save will corrupt and you’ll need to redownload it. The game doesn’t do well loading from a game that isn’t closed correctly and the true ending is not possible because it doesn’t keep track of progress correctly. Fun difficulty curve and progression maybe a little front loaded Unfortunately after relaunching the game I have confirmed loading the cloud save freezes the game in loading. I tested it with a fresh install new device but after loading cloud save it froze and resumed the bug upon restart ### 3/5 — Looks great on iPad, but App won't load from fresh start *2025-07-24* This game has been well ported from mouse and keyboard/gamepad controls to a nice touch screen control. Plus, it looks great on the iPad. However, the game won't start after the initial install and first initial play. It would go into some initial studio credit screen ne's, then to black. I'm on the 2nd gen iPad Pro. I suspect it has something to do with the saved game since it starts up fine from initial install.
